<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Riley said he noticed that Dwyane Wade was clearly still favoring his left shoulder during portions of Wade's first practice Monday.

''You could see the natural tendencies for him to try to avoid certain things,'' Riley said. ``Coming off pick-and-rolls and defending where his shoulder is vulnerable to being hit, he's going to have to just get through that.

``We'll find out where they force him defensively, and we'll find out where he wants to go. But I think eventually, once he gets out on the court and takes a few hits and realizes there's no problem with it, then I think he'll just continue to play.''

Riley said the team has used heavy bags to bang against Wade's shoulder to help him avoid those tendencies.

Although Riley is looking forward to having his star guard back in the mix, he said his team can't get caught looking ahead.

''You can't think too much about what happens when he comes back,'' Riley said. ``We have to really focus on what we're doing now. These games are really important. While I'm adding certain things to the offense that they'll be familiar with when he comes back, I can't really venture to say how much we'll do with him.''</div>

I'm sure he'll be favoring it for the remainder of the post season...

It really depends on Wade's body and how it heals. This is his first major injury since joining the league, so there's no history to predict how Wade is going to recover from this. What we do know from Wade, is he has a high threshold for pain.

Once dislocate your shoulder, it is easier to pop out, but I don't think Wade would return if he felt there was serious risk involved. The Heat have climbed into 1st place in their division without him, and playing a lot better than when he went down with an injury and the Heat were under the .500 mark.

It really depends on how much his shoulder has tightened up. A serious foul to the shoulder could cause him to dislocate his shoulder to dislocate.

Depending on how secure his shoulder is, depends on how much resistance his shoulder will have towards hits.

<font color=""Orange"">To go far in the playoffs, we definatly need Wade. Hopefully he will come back soon and not re-injure himself.</font>
