http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2501326 Grady's visiting his old team this week... Might make a nice stop gap (no pun intended) replacement for Ted Washington. I still wish the Packers would have made an attempt to keep him since last season was essentially his best season with the team.
The Rams didn't sign him because he's out of shape. He weighs 385 pounds and wants a lot of money. I wouldn't of mind TT giving him a one year deal but he wants a long term and more money than Pickett, so I rather see Jenkins, Williams, and Cole get a fair shot instead of a guy who'll just sit out of practices if he has a bruise.
Oh, I agree with you... Grady's window has passed and he's screwing himself by being out of shape. I would have preferred a two year extension offered to him late last year...but Thompson wrote him off. The front office didn't talk to him AT ALL last year. Zero chance of him coming back to Green Bay this year. That Window is closed.
Aren't the Raiders looking at another ex-Packer by the name of Donnell Washington. He has never played a single snap as a Packer in his two-year career and is a third round pick.

I liked the short time Grady was here, but reminds me of Gilbert Brown. If he's healthy he is impossible to run against but finally just can't keep his weight on his feet for 16 games.
