<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">In an interview with Marc Stein of ESPN, Kevin Garnett was candid about his past, present and future with the Minnesota Timberwolves . "I let it be known to everyone [in the organization] that we're going to finish this year out and everybody's going to assess and do what they have to do for themselves. And I'm no different from that. But I don't get into detail or the distraction of talking about something that I haven't really in depth researched or talked about myself." Garnett was asked if the 2006-2007 season is killing him and he agreed. "It is. It is. It is. It is. And not just how we're losing. The personnel. I was crushed when we let Sammy [Cassell] go [in 2005] and Spree [Latrell Sprewell]. I felt like we didn't handle that right." If Garnett is with Minnesota at the start of the 2007-2008 season, then he will expect change. "There's got to be. F--- yeah. I think [head coach] Randy Wittman would echo that, so it's not just me." </div> Link
I think its best for both to move on. Better for KG to be on a contender for once cause thats obviously not gonna happen here. Plus give the Wolves, a lot of money they can put into many players instead of just one. (he is the highest paid player in the league i believe). Im kinda intrigued to see if the team can do what the 76ers are doing without Iverson, with Foye, and McCants gettin alot more scoring chances. Although they could flop cant do much worse than they are now!
im a kg fan first and a wolves second he shoulda left 2 years ago IMO. i really hope he leaves next season so he can contend for a title.
The guy is a workhorse for this team. Management hasn't handle the team properly. I agree with what he said regarding Spree and Casell. They should have build on that nucleus. KG's situation is very much similar with Kidd's. They both deserve a ring. Hey, who knows, they might end up in one team next season. That would be another killer combo.
