<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">After being one of the worst teams in the league last season, the Toronto Raptors are on the verge of claiming one of the top spots in the Eastern Conference this year.

The Raptors may have a shot to clinch the first division title in franchise history when they visit the Philadelphia 76ers on Friday.

Coming off a season in which it went 27-55 to finish with the NBA's fifth-worst record, Toronto (42-33) already has locked up its first playoff berth since 2002.

With seven games remaining, the Raptors have a 6 1/2-game lead over second-place New Jersey in the Atlantic Division. They will win the first division crown in the team's 12-year history with a win in this game coupled with a Nets loss at Chicago on Friday. </div>

Ford's been overdribbling a lot more than usual today. He's got the stats and was hitting his jumpshot for a while, but the offense was too stagnant while he was on the floor. Calderon's been much better so far.

I think we need NJ to lose to Chicago tonight to truly clinch the division. Regardless, we've had it in the bag for a while now. The rest is just a formality.

The stats don't really show much about the game tonight. TJ was hitting his shots, but was dribbling wayy too much. It was actually a close game when he was in the game, because our offense stagnated. Calderon's stats don't jump out at you but I thought he played one of his better games. He was hitting shots and although he didn't get a huge assist total, most of the points in the offense were at least initiated from one of his passes.

I've been real impressed with the play of Joey Graham since Garbajosa went down. He's had some of his "bad Joey" games, but for the most part he's been a valuable contributor. What's most encouraging is that he's playing his own game, as more of a rebounding small forward. When we were fully healthy, he was kind of pigeon-holed as a guard, because it was the only way for him to get more minutes. When he plays to his strengths, we are a much better rebounding team and he builds up his confidence to the point where he can actually step up and hit a big shot once in a while (he put the ball on the floor successfully a couple times tonight).

The Bulls are on the verge of blowing out the Nets so far, it's 53-38 at halftime. The Raptors have most likely clinched their first division title in franchise history. Where are all the Colangelo haters at?

I don't think he was hating on Colangelo, he was just making the point that he's not perfect and we shouldn't anoint him our savior before we get some actually results .
