This is a very dangerous game that the Warriors cannot afford to overlooked specially with the Spurs looming tomorrow. the key for the Warriors is to not have a slow start, and win the rebound battle.

<div class="quote_poster">AnimeFANatic Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">hahahahahahahahaAA!! </div> Lol, I hope they do win it too.
I agree but I really think the Warriors are very well aware of what they need to do at this point. They know they need to win every game and while being aware and performing are two different things, I really don't think they're going to overlook any opponent right now. Yes, rebounds are a key, they are always key (and a problem) for the Warriors. Other keys for me are: (1) Dictating uptempo, sustained swarming ball and passing lane defense to create fast-break opportunities. No team can outrun the Warriors over the length of a game. (2) Keep pounding the things that are working. If Monta is getting to the rim unopposed, keep doing it until it stops working. And I mean like every play. (3) Stop doing the things that are not working. Don't fall in love with the long ball if it's not there. This concerns me because the Warriors have been hot from outsde of late, but at some point that's going to go away and if they don't recognize it and adjust quickly, it will cost them a game. (4) Don't have Biedrins playing tight defense on anyone 20' from the basket. Those fouls will kill the Warriors and they are so unnecessary. They will need him vs. Gasol. (5) Play Gasol like Yao when he doesn't have the ball (deny the entry pass) and like Nowitzki when he does have it (have the guards darting in from different angles to disrupt his dribble and poke the ball out). (6) Figure out early in each half if Harrington or Jackson is going to be the hot one, and sit the other quickly. Nelson has been pretty good about this lately. (7) For the love of the ghost of Dunmurphy, don't leave Mike Miller alone on the perimeter if his shot is on!
Oh wow, I just found out that Mike Miller is injured? That is very awesome for us if he can't play. Not a guarantee of anything, but still good.
The assist numbers were pretty crazy for the W's. It was getting pretty close until a couple of 3's opened it up.
Baron Davis almost had a quadruple double! Go Warriors! If Dallas doesn't beat the Nuggets the league is scheming something against the Warriors.
Monta Ellis was also awesome. Biedrins hurt his ankle but came back to finish the game. Those Grizzlies are pretty damn tough, though, even w/o Miller. Gay, Warrick, Atkins, and even that guy Kisey (I think) all can score. If they take Oden to play alongside Pau, they could be scary next year... Dallas vs. Denver is on ESPN right now

I bet he plays more than that vs. the Warriors, and I bet Tim Duncan doesn't take a night off against them either. And check out Kobe going large again now that the Lakers aren't playing anyone battling the Warriors for a playoff spot. Unbelievable the way this is shaking out.

Which probably means a lot more games like this, both for the Warriors (which may have happened in that Suns game where Nash and others I believe sat out the entire 4th period) and I guess the Clippers and Nuggets who are giving everything they can to make the playoffs. Hopefully the Warriors can just keep the winning coming and hopefully on the way get a few breaks to get ahead to slip into the playoffs.

I really, really hope you guys beat the Spurs, they are breathing down our [Suns] necks right now. I also really hope Denver wins tonight because I do not want to play them in the first round, nor do we want to play you guys though lol.

After we make it your file will be up for review to see if you can come back on. But if that really works I dont see it being a possibility of you coming back because we dont need your jinxes in the playoffs, draft, FA market, next year etc. Hopefully once we make the playoffs the curse will be gone, you will be back to your old self and you can come back. But until then, your mod duties will be turned over to me and we will see you in 2.5 weeks

But the good news is we were close. Getting killed by 13 points isn't too shabby. I was expecting a 30 point blowout.
