Do the Lions know that they have a gem in Matt Bernstein...this guy was an incredible after draft gift...I'm a Cowboys fan and wanted him to play for them, but they have dropped FB from their plans this year...maybe Matt will one day be a Cowboy....I can only hope, until then, I hope he scores a lot...he's the Lions answer to Giants Brandon Jacobs. Give him a year and you'll see.

I could swear Bernstein was your typical blocking FB. I know for certain the jints use Jacobs as a goal line/short yardage specialist.

He is. Bernstein is similar to William Henderson but probably not as athletic. He's a lead blocker and that's pretty much it.

Matt Millen is one of the biggest assests to Chi MIn and GB's success. LOL

No one was more surprised than I was that Bernstein went undrafted. He was, on a lot of boards, the highest rated fullback (in an albeit weak field) in this year's draft.

As much as I think Millen sucks donkey balls, I have to admit that him snagging Brian Calhoun one pick before Green Bay and THEN grabbing Bernstein really ticked me off.

Good for the Lions, bad for this disheartened fan who always hates to see great Wisconsin players go play for the enemy. [IMG]

I always root for the Badger players in the NFL. As long as the rest of the Lions stink I'm a happy fan. [IMG]
