i understand, but a lot of the short people are liek i wanna be 8'4 lol its jsut funny cause everyone whos short thinks its great being tall, and every one whos tall wants to shrink down a few inches cause its not great

That's because nothing is perfect. Another reason why life is great.

Now just for those who thought it was a penis extension thread.

Why did you come in here? A bit telling isn't it? [IMG]

    Nice find.

    3"+ why not?

I would be 6'6" = good NBA height. If I knew I was going to be my height when I was in middle school, I would have probably flunked out (of high school) thinking I could be a pro baller. Instead of "playing" basketball I would have practiced everyday and focused on improving every aspect of my game.

How come you didn't try to be in the NBA? If I was your height, that would be what I would aim for. [IMG]

I could of made some lower division team in europe I guess but not the NBA. It's very hard to make It, harder than anyone can imagine. It's not just about being tall you have to be so skilled. I was a decent rebounder and a good shooter but not much else. I also had injury problems early which hurt my speed. I was closer to becoming a pro Tennis player than I was a basketball player. I was very good at both and really never gave either up.

I have no regrets, I'm in a very high paid job where I get to be with my family more than If I was travelling alot so It's not all bad.

I will always be a very good basketball player for the average person but in terms of professional? not that close to be honest. I have played a few NBA players one on one and It shows you where you are at and where they are.

Tennis wise I'm still worthy enough to be one of the best Tennis players in my state. So that means alot knowing how good I am against non pro's.

That's very important, so I would definitely consider it great.

    Stephen Jackson loads of times
    Malik Rose
    Speedy Claxton

Only guys I have really played. I did manage to shoot around with Al Harrington and Jason Richardson when I went to Golden State last month. Only because Sjax invited me to do so.

Got introducted to him hid first year at the Spurs and got on well and have been friends ever since. We don't speak that often but every now and then. We didn't talk that much after the brawl for obvious reasons [IMG] but now he is no longer a Pacer, I can no longer hate the guy [IMG]

He said If GS makes the playoffs he's getting me some tickets for one of the home games. I may have to pass If I'm still on my honeymoon. Depends when the games will be.

I don't really say this word a lot, but that's awesome. Do you have some sort of connection with the Spurs organization?

Only reason I got to meet him or any of the Spurs was down to my uncle. Who has worked for the Spurs at the arena doing the basic stuff in terms of making sure the court is good to go e.t.c. I wouldn't say I have connections with the Spurs but I do get to hear some rumours you wouldn't hear from the media and sometimes I do get info on trades before they are announced to the public. When Spurs signed Nick Van Exel I was told about It a day before It pretty much happened. You have got to be careful sometimes though, as I could of got in trouble had I said before I was allowed to but luckily I've never done that.

I shouldn't be saying this but Sjax was so over the moon about the trade to GS that I got a text message a few hours after It has been offical with the words..."So glad I'm out of that *********'s system man" something he would never of dared saying to the media.

Thats pretty lucky to have a connection with a NBA player. The closest thing I have to that is friends with Brad Millers cousin.
