Inital gut reaction says they should win 7 or 8.

Let's sig bet. Put your talk where it is. If the Pack don't win 4 games like you claim then I'll wear any signature you want.

If they do you have to wear what ever sig I tell you too.

everyone can hit a target 5 out of 16 games, a little too risky,

I bet you the giants do better, or that the packers wont win 7, 4 is just my prediction, but even predictions fail, even ones as good as mine [IMG]

I say the Packers will win 6 games. It will be a tight race in the division since there is no competition. But I see the Vikings and Packers duking it out for second while the Lions are dead last, Chicago wins the division AND with Grossman not getting injured in the preseason. Favre retires, the end.

I smell a chicken. Can't backup your word up on your 3 or 4 win prediction.

I agree although I think the Pack win 7 or 8 games. I also think Favre retires at the end of the year unless McCarthy really wins him over, then he'll stay.

I smell a person who understands that anyone can win in any week in the NFL, they could get lucky with 5 wins is all I am saying.

Have you even looked at the Packers' schedule this year? It has to be one of the five or six easiest in the league...

The better question is have packer fans looked at your rosters?

Ahman and Gado are both coming off of knee surgeries.
Favre is old and has no gas left in the tank
Donal Driver is nothing more then a great #2 receiver
You have 1-2 rookies starting for you in your LB corps, no matter how good, they are going to make mistakes.
Gbaja is a casualty on the run side of things
Charles woodson is one of the most overrated and overpaid corners in the league.

Favre has plenty of gas left in the game. It's his mental aspect that worries me.
Gado is healthy. Green will be healthy by the season as will Davenport.
Driver is easily a #1. In fact Driver has been this team's #1 for the last 4 season ahead of Walker on the DC. Driver also had a Pro Bowl Season (was an alternate) as a #1 last year. He made the Pro Bowl as a #1 once or twice I believe.
Hawk, Barnett, and Taylor. So a top 5 pick and 2 vets.
    Woodson > Carroll
KGB has been a casualty his whole career against the run and you just notice now. He's still a great pass rusher and GB will look to use him on 3rd downs only.

You say 5, I say more than 5. Are you still too chicken?

Ahmad Carrol<every corner in the nfl

I still think Tayor's season was a fluke, Hawk will make some big mistakes, I just have a feeling.

You can never be 100% healthy with a knee injury playing on it can be like a ticking time bomb.

7 and thats my final offer they wont win 7 games

Taylor isn't going to need to make 100 tackles with Hawk and Barnett. LB is also the easiest position to adjust to the NFL. Hawk will do just fine. He won't come in and dominate but he'll be right up there with the rookie of the year. I think he could win it. Most of the time, LB's do.

Steve Smith broke his leg and bounce back pretty find. It's going to help all 3 that neither has to be relied on 20 time a game. Just use RB by committee and that?s what their going to do.

Carroll is more than ready to be a nickel back. Was he a starter? No. Is he the worse CB in footballl? No. Was he worth a 1st round pick? ekkk no..

So first 3 wins, then 5, and then 7. Can you make up your mind and stick too it or are we going to continue the pattern and go with 9? I've said many times on the board I think they win 7 to 9 wins this year as long as they don?t lose every playmaker to injury (like last year).. 6-10 if everything is a disaster (injuries) You obviously don?t know enough about the Packers to make a fair assessment of the team. You continue to change your mind about them.

obviously YOU are a homer who cant see past your team actually not being in the playoffs for more then 1 year, Im sorry porky but.....

the dream is over, your not making the playoffs in the next 3 years, your a REBUILDING team and your not doing that great job at rebuilding. You guys are the new 49ers.

Ill take 5-11, so if they go 6-10 which they wont I need to have a packer pic in my sig?

If not you need to have a chosensig by me if you are worng that is?

All they need is Favre to not make as many mistakes, 1 more reciver to emerge, and the RB core to be healthy and they are a wildcard team.. maybe not the long run but this season that is all they need

Where did I say the Packers were making the playoffs this year????

I said 7 to 9 wins if they play well. 6-10 if they do bad. Are you reading the posts?

So saying a team will win 7 to 9 wins and beat the teams they should beat like the 49ers, Lions, Saints, Jets, etc... makes me a homer???

Are you kidding me? I'm not the one saying my team has the best front 4 in football when they're not even close. I'm not the one saying my teams will have a better defense than the most dominate defense in the NFL last year..
