.. And may sit out the next game or two as a precaution. This just reported by Comcast SportsNet Chicago in an interview with Skiles and Hinrich about the problem and on CLTV: Kirk sat out during practice and may possibly miss a game or two, but it isn't certain just yet. This all stems from the hit Kirk took from Mo Pete, which left him with neck problems the next day.

I suppose the hit was worse then many of us believed. Good call by the ref then.

This could easily derail our playoffs if it is anything serious. Hopefully it isn't.

Luckily we have breaks between games so he can get good rests.

Guess Duhon is back in the starting role.

It depends because it isn't for sure that Kirk may miss any games. I hope that he doesn't, but I'd prefer that he rest if he really needs to.

I think if Kirk is rested we can wave goodbye to #2 seed.

Yeah, but if he needs rest and isn't given that he may have set backs. Then we may end up losing him the entire post season. Catch 22.

Although New York guard Stephon Marbury may be out for the year with turf toe, Hinrich doesn’t think his injury will keep him from playing tonight against the Knicks.

“I jammed it on the back of (Toronto guard) Juan Dixon’s heel,” Hinrich said. “It’s kind of a weird thing. It’s just a little sore. I don’t think it’s a big deal.”</div>

Looks like he missed practice because of a stubbed toe, not anything related to the Peterson foul. He says he should be ready for the game against the Knicks.

Yep, seen that late last night. They basically ran the same report (video clips) as the early evening only with different information. This morning however, they still reported that he may still indeed sit out the next game. I really doubt it though, I even did before. Kirk isn't the type to sit out with some minor injury.
