Yea, I was just about to post this. Good move for him. I think a lot of people might be turned off, because of the way he played during the Pac-10 and NCAA tournament. But, I think that's just because he's not built to be the main option on offense. In the NBA, he'll most likely be a role player (2nd or 3rd option down the road) and I think it'll allow him to be much more productive.
Only way he makes a living for awhile in the NBA is if he's a defensive stopper, I could see him being like a Raja Bell maybe
I don't see him being a viable second or third option on any NBA team. He'll have trouble getting his shaky shot off in the League, so his best contribution will be his defensive presence on the perimeter.
Did anyone tell him that Corey Brewer is going to be in the NBA? You would think he would like one season where he would not match up against Brewer.
Wish him the best of luck..I would agree that many may be turned off by his performance vs Cal in the Pac-10 Tournament and the NCAA Tourney. It seemed like whenever there was a big game towards the end of the season, he'd shut down. That being said, I think he could make a decent role player, should be interesting to see how this turns out.
He's not built to be the #1 scoring option on a team.. That showed in the big games.. But there's definitely a place for him in the NBA.. He could be a solid starter in the league.. If he works on his D and midrange game.. Smart and tough, he should do fine..
