<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post"> MIAMI -- That's not Dwyane Wade. This sounds derogatory toward Wade, but that's not the intention. It's not his fault. He deserves applause for returning with a dislocated shoulder. He's the Heat regular who has cared the most in this meaningless regular season. And, Lord knows, Wade has time yet to feel more confident about his shoulder and become the first star to run through the playoffs with a serious injury since, well, maybe ever. Michael Jordan got a fever one Finals game. Willis Reed made a thigh-bruised entrance into another. Isiah Thomas played on a sprained ankle against the Lakers. You'd have thought each deserved a Medal of Honor for the odes written them. What kind of adjective shortage will there be if Wade plays into June? Still, that's not Wade out there. Not yet. I don't want to pull a full Lloyd Bentsen here, but I know know Dwyane Wade and that, sir, is no Dwyane Wade. "We all know how he plays," Riley said after Wednesday's 85-82 win against Washington. "He's explosive. He's quick. The plays he was making routinely, he's making turnovers on. "He's not even close to [himself] right now." Yet there was Riley saying what everyone who watched Wade's first three games back did. "He's getting better," he said.</div> Source: Sun-Sentinel
Just heard Wade is also suffering with a sore left knee, so its tough for him. But hopefully as time goes by he can get his timing back and be ready for another big playoff run.
after seeing his stats tonight, i'd say hes back. i didnt get to see the whole game, but he had a moster dunk in the closing minute that helped them win the game. hes back.
DWADE IS BACK! He dominated the fourth quarter and totally worked Danny Granger. What a game hopefully this is only the beginning.
Although he isn't 100%, he's "back" enough for Miami to make a title run.....D Wade = one of my most favorite players...ever.

He needs more time, but, he will get there... I would say he's at about 75% at the moment.</font>
Oh he'll get there and I agree this is just what we need to to make a run to defend our title. However, I think the big part has been our D. Eddie Jones and James Posey are going to cause a lot of players problems during the playoffs. Also, we haven't seen this team at full strength because as we all know they cruise through the regular season.
he's more than back. Miami should be considered the favorite to come out of the East - amazingly, considering their mess of a regular season. ANyone who thinks the Pistons or Cavs will roll over this team is seriously delusional... If they play like they're supposed to and no key players get injured, they will play in the Finals.....
we can easily beat the pistons for sure. if we play a team that doesn't have a player to match up well against shaq (detroit), we win. webber gets embarassed all the time by him, rasheed cant take him, and no 1 else plays enough to have a big impact. plus, the cavs cant really stop him either, i dont think anyway. so if you take that + d.wade at about 85%, we can win. now imagine if d.wade gets back to 100%. watch out. we all know what dwyane's capable of in the playoffs.
I don't see the Heat as clearcut better than the Pistons, the Pistons have a lot of big bodies to throw at Shaq (Sheed, Webber, McDyess, Nazr Mohammed, and Dale Davis). As well having Billups, Rip, and Prince rounds out the starters nicely.

I think Miami can bet Detroit 4-2 again. No one is going to stop Shaq, I think this is his year to shine in the playoffs. Also, our defense is gonig to be able to stop Detroit. We're going to match up Jones or Posey on Prince and probably stick Wade on Rip. Against Detroit we match up best with this lineup: PG: Wade SG: Jones SF: Posey PF: Haslem C: Shaq Also, don't sleep on Zo, I think he's still hungry enough to win another one and he can also take on anybody the Pistons throw at him.
<div class="quote_poster">AirJordan Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Heat can make the finals but they can't beat Spurs, Dallas, Suns or even Houston</div> and we couldnt come back from a 2-0 hole last year. we werent gonna win game 3 down by 13 points with under 8 minutes. we werent gonna beat detroit in the eastern finals. simply put, dont EVER count out the heat, they can always surprise you.
<div class="quote_poster">AirJordan Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Heat can make the finals but they can't beat Spurs, Dallas, Suns or even Houston</div> Wow what an intelligent statement. That's ok because nobody picked us against Dallas last year and look what happened. So you keep saying such amazingly intellectual things like that and we'll see who comes out on top.
