ive almost completely given up on this team, i want to hate them, but i am a laker fan at heart so i cant really say i give up completely. but im pretty fuckin close. if smush, odom, kwame, radman and vujacic are still on this team by the start of next season, im going to follow the rockets, ill still be fan of the lakers but ill know that with those players the team will not go anywhere.

edit: we're preparing for the playoffs and odom still plays like this, WTF!! i want him off this team, no more odom, he is such a loser, what happened to him ,he was going to be a great player, then just got worse and worse this season, i dont even think any other team would want him, he is going to be hard to trade because of his contract.

Everyone always expects Odom to step up but he hasnt done crap. Right now I think it will probably do the lakers good to miss the playoffs that way Buss makes big changes.

Sasha Vujacic sure does a great job of making the coaching staff look dumb. The turning point in last night's game was the mistake of bringing Sasha off the bench to "pester" Sam Cassell to start the 4th quarter.

The Lakers had a comfortable lead, and Sam Cassell was struggling all night long prior to Sasha defending him.

During that stretch of the game, Sam Cassell was a +11, and Sasha was -7 in total production. That's net loss of -18 for the Lakers when Sasha came on the court. He killed all momentum for the Lakers, and allowed Cassell to find his scoring rhythm. Once Cassell got going offensively the rest of the Clippers followed suit.

Cassell had 6 points and 3 assists, and in just 5:40 minutes the Lakers effort went down the crapper.

I cannot fathom why the Lakers continue to play Sasha when the outcome of a game is still undecided. Time and time again, he comes in the game, and the other team goes on a scoring binge. Why aren't McKie or Shamu getting those opportunities?
