I hope the Warriors clinch the playoffs on Tuesday by beating the Mavericks and the Suns defeating the Clippers. It will make things much easier and with less stress.
What about the Lakers? Would we want them to win out? Because there's the possibility of being the 7th seed and playing the Suns.

what's our head to head record with the Suns? Didn't we almost have a blowout until a late game run that last game? Honestly I wouldn't mind playing the Suns as a 7th seed at all. I think we can play them tough. BD is on fire on d, he harrased Nash that game. We got the firepower to play them tough. Amare will have monster games but I think we can use Foyle to help slow him down. And besides if we play the Suns in the playoffs all eyes will be on us for every single game in the series, the exposure would be incredible. And if you're a free agent Rebounding PF wouldn't you like to sign with the W's after watching them play?

Whatever happens, the Warriors have really showed some heart, something lacking since C-Webb went to Washington for Gugliotta.

This is going to be exciting. Wow... the playoffs... I bet people's grandkids will remember this forever if we ever make it. Okay, so it's only been 12-13 or "God-knows-how-many" or so seasons, but man this season will be worth it if we make it. If we don't, I'm going to be miserable all summer... lol.

This is just like the Giants last season when they were so close for the playoffs and they just lost it at the end. But i hate baseball so this is different. Go Warriors!

Go Warriors!</div> I'll be even more optimistic when they make the playoffs, ill. Man... it's like we can almost say that getting more athletic, getting a better coach, does equate to more winning simply because we have better matchups to achieve what we want (the running game becauseour biggest stars like to run). Now... if we can just work on our rebounding, defense, and halfcourt inside scoring, ability to get to the line and shoot midrange shots off the dribble and decision-making, we'd be a really scary team to face.
As a sports fan of the Bay Area teams, it would be very tough to get by this summer if the Warriors don't make the playoffs because the Giants don't look so good this season, and I haven't followed the A's, but the football teams aren't that great either. So I hope the Warriors make it. I hope the Suns beat the Clippers tomorrow, that will help everything. But the Suns already have clinched the second spot in the playoffs and this will be the second game of a away-home back-to back @Houston and then vs. Clippers. But the Suns are 33-7 at home, so hopefully that home crowd ignites them to play well and blow the Clippers out for the last home game of the regular season and to get ready fo the playoffs. Tomorrow is going to be nuts. To make things much more exciting for us, the two games start at different times. The Suns/Clippers play at 7PM whereas the Warriors start at 7:30PM which usually means about 7:45PM. Man I am so psyched.
<div class="quote_poster">Duckmyster Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Who ever said in this board that eric musselman couldn't get the warriors in the playoffs!</div> Maybe it's now legit to say that Musselman got this team to the playoffs eh?
<div class="quote_poster">Clif25 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Maybe it's now legit to say that Musselman got this team to the playoffs eh? </div> Former Warrior coach Eric Musselman and former Warrior player Avery Johnson both got the Warriors in the playoffs. Dallas + Sacramento Game was instrumental in case the Warriors decided to play like they usually did on the road and on 2nd consecutive game.
