Is there any way we could get Gerald Wallace? He is a free agent this season. Do you guys think there is any way the Lakers can land Wallace. Or as many other players expected to suit up in LA, as Kidd, KG, Rashard Lewis, Chauncey Billups and Jermaine Oneal.
In my opinion, the Lakers need a bigman first and foremost, and then after that a guard. A scoring SG/SF is somewhere last on the list. But I don't know much about Wallace, if he is a good (read: great) defender, we might use him anyway. But he's probably too expensive if the Lakers wants to get some other players too.
Wallace is in fact an excellent defender and I would be ecstatic if we were to land him in the off-season, but I feel that he will be asking for quite a pay raise this year
Wallace would be an excellent fit in L.A....but he's going to be sought after by a lot of teams when the offseason hits...
