^^ You got that right, we HAVE to get these 2 for sure, because jazz are a good home court team AND it will be pretty rowdy there too but hopefully we can win in both places

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Shane Battier was asked about two weeks ago to choose the most physical team in the NBA.

He didn't need long to make his selection.

"(The Jazz) are the most physical team in the league and they got some bruisers," Battier said. "Every time you play the Jazz, you got to strap your helmet on. It's going to be rough."

The rest of the Rockets shouldn't have any trouble vouching for that over the next couple of weeks.

The Rockets will open the playoffs Saturday night when they host the bullies of the NBA, otherwise known as the Utah Jazz, in Game 1 of their first round series at Toyota Center.

Despite all the talk in the series likely centering on Tracy McGrady's chances of finally leading a team deep into the playoffs, Houston's success will largely depend on how well they handle Utah's hard-nosed brand of basketball.

Rockets coach Jeff Van Gundy said the series will be determined by how his team matches Utah's intensity rather than the adjustments made by the coaching staff over the course of the best-of-seven series.</div>

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Houston Rockets hung a banner during their last regular-season home game to honor retiring general manager Carroll Dawson. They haven't had much more to celebrate lately.
Houston hasn't won a playoff series since 1997 and since winning back-to-back championships in 1994 and '95, the Rockets have slipped to third-best in their own state, behind Dallas and San Antonio.
The Rockets open this year's playoffs against Utah at the Toyota Center on Saturday. It's no stretch to say this is a pivotal moment not only for the franchise, but also for seven-time All-Star Tracy McGrady, who's winless in five career playoff series.
"It wouldn't just mean a lot to me, it would mean a lot to this organization, knowing that we're moving in the right direction," McGrady said. "That's what I'm all about, just trying to improve each year. We didn't make the playoffs leat year, we're back this year and expecting a lot. Hopefully, we can advance and we'll see what happens."
McGrady twice led the league in scoring when he played for Orlando, but he's been surrounded by a better supporting cast this year than he's ever had.
McGrady averaged a career-high 6.5 assists per game, most of them to Yao Ming, who blossomed into one of the league's best centers. And when teams have opted to double-team him, not Yao, McGrady has gotten results passing to Rafer Alston, Luther Head and Shane Battier for 3-pointers or Chuck Hayes and Juwan Howard for easy baskets underneath.</div>

Tracy McGrady has spent a portion of his career getting pushed around in the playoffs. This trip should be no exception.

Looking for his first postseason series win, McGrady leads the Houston Rockets into their Western Conference first-round series with the rugged Utah Jazz, one of four sets beginning Saturday.

The Jazz-Rockets matchup is the only Western Conference affair and the last one of the day. There are Eastern Conference showdowns pitting New Jersey at Toronto, Miami at Chicago and Orlando at Detroit.

A 10-year veteran, McGrady has lost five first-round series with three teams - Toronto (2000), Orlando (2001-03) and Houston (2005). That has created an empty spot on an otherwise full NBA resume that includes two scoring titles and seven All-Star berths.

The last two losses were particularly galling. McGrady's Magic blew a 3-1 series lead to Detroit in 2003. In 2005, McGrady and the Rockets also succumbed in seven games to Dallas despite winning the first two contests on the road.</div>

Well it's halftime and we're not lookin too good. DEREK FISHER is doin a great job on Tmac. Our starting PF has scored 2pts and we're getting absolutley nothin from our bench, besides Juwan. The problem is we're a jumpshooting team (despite what Foo thinks[IMG]) so when our shots aren't falling this is the outcome. Let's hope Tmac brought his superman cape..........Or this is gonna get ugly.

D-Will is killing us. We need to seriously take less 3pt shots, especially the forced ones.

Yeah, Im not 100% sure, im watching the game on TVU, so its kind of poor quality, but it looked like him, the cut to the Red Rowdies, and showed a guy holding up a sign which said MVP had a drawing of the NBA Trophy and I think it was a photo of T-Mac, the guy was bald and wearing black framed glasses, looked very much like DREAM to me. I think he was standing next to the guy that he was on that ESPN show with too.

    It probably was him, NTC.

THE DREAM has a tendency to be on TV. I've seen him many times this year.

Rockets up by 14 - Chuck Hayes going nuts. lol....

Our defense in the second half has been awesome. That and McGrady going off has been the difference in this game.
