If the Warriors meet the Mavs, it's Mavs 4-2.
If the Warriors meet the Suns, it's Suns 4-0 or 4-1 at best.

I wish I could be more optimistic about it, but that's how I feel. I hope I'm wrong, but let's just get in first!

I would flip those around. Mavs have a no-nonsense coach that will demand his team plays the best D of their lives. Phoenix has a guy that says "get out and run". Warriors could take the Suns to 7, but not Dallas.

WTF, Dirk and Josh Howard aren't playing. Now we don't get to prove ourselves in this game. [IMG]

Um... dude? You want them to play? Are you crazy?

Warriors need all the help they can get man. I don't care how good the Warriors are, I don't want Dirk and Howard playing when the race is this close.

The Warriors bench has been big tonight, at least through the first half. Barnes has 10 points, Pietrus 8, and Biedrins 2, which is 20 points which is better than their counterparts, at least from the guard positions of Monta an Jason. Harrington has started off well, and so has Stephen Jackson (thanks Indiana). Baron has been doing fine as well. I like the 14 assists on 19 made buckets. Let's finish this off and hope the Suns can edge off the Clippers.

Looks like a barnburner in Phoenix tonight, it's been close all game long. I've been checking the score every minute or so and it's always been one or two points seem like. Getting nervous!

Now it's a 5 points game with less than 35 seconds left; Suns are losing...

Oh well, would have been nice to clinch in front of the home fans, but I'm not worried much about the Warriors winning the game against a terrible Portland team. For once, there is little chance of them taking this game too lightly.

Its crazy, we could go anywhere from the 7th seed to being home for the playoffs. All it takes is the Warriors to come out flat tomorrow on a road game off a back to back and a Clippers win over a done NOK team...

Warriors looking sloppy here, that's not something I want to see. They need to first ensure that they actually win this game of course, and then try to stay sharp and play with some intensity. It's not there right now. Crowd is completely dead, it's like a knitting convention in there.

Agh, bu-humbug. I guess you can't get everything you want. The Clippers managed to hold off and defeat the Suns. Right now the Warriors are up 26 and need to keep this lead for the win tonight. Then tomorrow the Warriors go to Portland the Clippers go to LA, and we'll have one more day to decide who is going to the playoffs. Man, I really wanted to see the Warriors clinch the playoffs today. I am nervous about the Warriors playing on the road on a second night of a back-to-back. But they'll have to keep playing like they are and defeat the Blazers (or just hope the Hornets beat the Clippers).

Maybe I have a selective memory, but it seems as if Pietrus loves playing against teams from Texas. I remember he used to want to play for the Spurs, he has played outstanding defense vs. Steve Francis, and TMac when they were/are on the Rockets, and he's played two awesome games against the Mavs in a row. Pietrus is always a crucial player. I have always though that the team's ceiling is decided by Mickael Pietrus. Sometimes when that guy is on and the team is clicking, it just seems like this team can beat anyone and win the title maybe, haha (not to compare this game to being qualified to win a championship).

Baron did a ankle shattering crossover on Devean George's and bashed it. What a good man.

And apparently Devin Harris has other things on his mind...

Thank you Avery Johnson for helping out your former boss and friend.

Unfortunately, the Clippers also won tonight and they hold the tie breaker which I think they could win tomorrow if we also win. So no champagne parties tonight for the Dubs if they lose or they tie tomorrow.

What seemed like windfall for the Warriors fans could turn into a nasty ass surprise when that Wizards game late technical foul comes back to haunt us.

It's just so so so convenient if one were writing about a team that could finally make it... and they don't because of one thing that happened in the past... a silly thing... a moronic and avoidable thing... caused by both Don Nelson and referee alike... it's like it's out of a book or something... where the Warriors are always destined to fail.

It's like when people discussed that Washington game it was like it was going to foreshadow what was about to come. So they Clippers better lose tomorrow and the Warriors better win... or else what was foretold will come true... and it will be proving that only the Warriors could be this truly cursed.

I kept saying don't count chickens before the eggs hatch, but I also didn't think that the Wizards game would hold so much importance because we probably didn't have the team to get this far... but we did. It's so ironic that they're good enough to probably hold an 8th seed, but they find someway to lose anyway.

Anyway, here's to hoping that the LA teams don't win tomorrow.
