Haha, this is what a Carter fan could dream for. Get revenge on the team and people who hate him. I think if we gets the 6th seed and face the Raptors, we will have a much higher chance of winning then playing the Bulls or Cavs.

Why? Because we got mad when he abandoned us? If he didn't want people criticizing and booing him, he shouldn't have acted like a complete p**sy when he was here. This series should be good. I have to admit, the Nets are a much tougher opponent. They have playoff experience and excellent guards that could take over the series. You could make strong points for either team, IMO.
Bring it on!!!! Toronto vs. New Jersey. Vince aint gettin no love in the T dot. For some reason it feels like a matchup of destiny for Carter and the Raptors. I don't think the Raptors will self destruct in the playoffs though. We have players that have won World Championships playing for the Raptors, but the Nets have NBA playoff proven players, so this will be a very interesting series. Honestly though, New Jersey fans really have nothing to be mad against the Raptors, though the Raptors have a bone to pick with Carter. New Jersey just happens to be associated with him, so that's why we're against you. We'll all be in red wearing the number 15 <- for our favourite player JORGE GARBAJOSA (we wish you a quick recovery)
I can't see the Nets beating the Raptors, they are too deep and Bosh won't away from his first playoff series
This is a matchup of epical proportions. If we beat the Nets and Vince, we will truly have (in the eyes of others) moved past the persona of being a team that is still recognized through Vince Carter. The Raptors are pretty deep right now, and I don't see us losing to the Nets, although this series will probably go on for 7 games. I'm assuming Bosh will struggle on his first or perhaps first and second games out of the gates, as the playoffs are a brand new stage and he doesn't have that experience. The Nets are a veteran team, and they have been to the playoffs before. In a sense, it's kind of like us facing the Knicks in 2001; they were battle tested, we had yet to win a playoff game. Yet, we still managed to beat them. You gain 'playoff experience' with every game you play and there's only so long a team can go without depth in the playoffs, and that is where NJ will struggle. On a totally unrelated note, how cool would this series be if it went to game 7 in Toronto? Imagine Vince had the chance to win with a game winner ala Philly in 2001 and he shot the exact same shot that he did in 2001, with the same kind of miss? Although I love Vince, that'd still be quite neat.
I'd rather play the Wiz so that Vince carter bullshit doesnt get in the way of the real story that is the Raptors season But if it came to pass I'd enjoy the series
