This is a bigger blow to our playoff hopes then alot people will realize, lets hope he is back in the first round. It doesnt look good though.
Damn, terrible news. I know we weren't going to get too far in the playoffs anyway, but now we have even less of a chance. Hopefully the injury is not too serious and let's hope we can beat Miami tonight.

Milicic had tests Wednesday and was ruled out of the Magic's regular-season finale against defending NBA champion Miami. He was listed day-to-day, and his return depended on how he responded to treatment. </div> So hopefully he can come back for game 1. At least it doesn't look too serious and we should have him back for a couple of games in the playoffs.
Here is an update. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Magnetic resonance imaging Wednesday revealed that power forward Darko Milicic has a right midfoot sprain, but the club is saying it's not as serious as Milicic first feared. But his status for this weekend's playoffs is up in the air, throwing a wrench in Coach Brian Hill's postseason game-planning. Milicic was injured in the Magic' victory against the Washington Wizards on Tuesday night. "Yeah, if he's missing the first game or two, that's a problem for us," Hill said. "Especially for our interior defense." Without Milicic -- who backs up veteran Tony Battie -- the Magic lose a 7-foot shot blocker and a player who can deliver some easy baskets. The other repercussion is that Dwight Howard and Battie have to be concerned about getting into foul trouble. Power forward Bo Outlaw, 6 feet 8, would play a role with Milicic unavailable. He relieved Howard on Wednesday night against the Heat after Howard picked up two quick fouls. Small forward Trevor Ariza, 6-8, also would face bigger players.</div> Source: Orlando Sentinel
