<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">The Toronto Raptors get one last chance to set a single-season franchise record for wins as they host the Philadelphia 76ers on Wednesday in each team's regular-season finale.

The 47 wins equal the mark established by the 2000-01 team. Setting the record for the Raptors (47-34), however, is secondary to being healthy for the playoffs.

Toronto rested two of its top three scorers in Tuesday's 100-84 loss to Detroit. All-Star forward Chris Bosh and guard Anthony Parker were in street clothes as the Raptors shot 39.0 percent from the field and had their six-game winning streak end.

Rookie forward Uros Slokar took advantage of the increased playing time and scored a career-high 18 points, making 7 of 10 shots from the field. Slokar, a second-round pick in 2005, had scored 20 combined points in his previous 19 games.

"I've been waiting all year for a chance like this," Slokar said. "For me, every game might be my last, so I have to prove to someone that I can play. That went pretty well tonight."

Morris Peterson, one of Toronto's key reserves, added 14 points and 13 rebounds before leaving the game in the last two minutes with a knee injury. He limped off the floor, and was helped back to the locker room, but didn't think the injury was serious.

"My first thought was 'Oh no, not now,' but I think it scared me more than being any actual injury," Peterson said. "I don't think I'm going to miss any practices or games, but we'll have to see what happens tomorrow."

The Sixers (34-47) are closing out a season that started promisingly with three wins before turning into a rebuilding year. Philadelphia severed ties with franchise player Allen Iverson in December, then agreed to a buyout with five-time All-Star Chris Webber to make room for younger talent. </div>

I really like the Bargnani-Bosh-Humphries combination.

Don't understand why Bargnani didn't play yesterday? I can't see how he could of improved that much in 1 day and moreover yesterdays game would have given him for time to get conditioned, work on his jumper and get into the flow heading into playoffs.

best eye candy yet!! I was actually interested in watching this game but my cable got knocked out ... ouch.

Are we using this as a tune up game for the playoffs? Why has Chris Bosh played 30 minutes tonight? I thought it was going to be the Uros Slokar show?

The crowd reminds me of Italian fans during the World Cup. They're playing the White Stripes and everyone's chanting the guitar riff from Seven Nation Army.

Luke Jackson looks cooler with a beard.

I think they want to set the franchise record for wins.

Luke Jackson looks a bit like a Sam from Lord of the Rings and its weird TJ is the only player with a Golden aura around him.
