If we win 1, it will be a great accomplishment. I bet the closest any of the 4 games is is 7-10 points in a Piston sweep. I'm the exact opposite of Swish, I'm pessimistic as hell against Detroit. I would have predicted 7 games in the Cleveland series with us possibly winning.

We don't play great in any way shape or form. We play better as underdogs then the favorites, sure, but this is Detroit. 2. Darko might not play much because of his injury and the fact that Brian Hill never freaking starts him. Grant Hill is too old to carry a team for an entire series. And did you really mention Carlos Arroyo? lol 3. Sure we have won 6 out of our last 7, but the wins are against Memphis, Milwaukee, Philadelphia, Boston, Washington(without 2/3rds their team), and Miami without Wade and Shaq. None of the teams we beat would even come close to sniffing the playoffs the way we played them. 4. If they lose, it will be a failure. They will not lose. I don't see how this benefits us. 5. I'm not going against the Magic, I'm going to be rooting for them like crazy, my realism just doesn't see any possible way we have a Game 6 in Orlando, much less beat them. Other points.... -Detroit is built for the playoffs. Each Piston starter basically has more playoff experience by themselves then our entire team combined. -Detroit has home court advantage and they rarely lose at home. Their crowd certainly shows up for playoffs and it will be a tall task for the Magic to win there. (which we have to do to win the series) -Detroit has won all 4 games against us this year and I believe 2 out of the 3 last year(and the one we won was by 2 points against the Pistons 2nd unit) -Our half court offense is atrocious and Detroit is one of the best half court defense teams. -Chauncey Billups owns us. Here are things that have to happen for the Magic to have any chance..... 1) Somehow get a new coach. 2) Dwight needs 15-20 touches a game, while minimizing his turnovers to 2-3 a game max and shooting 70% from the FT line. None seem likely, but he is going to have to be the man RIGHT NOW. He has to mature RIGHT NOW. 3) Hedo needs to be unconscious. He hasn't found the stroke consistently yet this year. He needs to be money from 3 point land. 4) Jameer needs to realize when he needs to be a scorer and when he needs to get the ball to other players. If he can avg 5-6 assists a game throughout this series it might give us a chance. 5) Grant Hill needs to turn into a superstar again. He needs to take over the entire series. 6) Ariza/Dooling need to find a way to slow down Billups in any way possible. 7) Darko needs to start and get 30 minutes a game. Battie SHOULD NOT START NOW. 8) Get a new coach. We need all 6 of these to happen if we want any chance what-so-ever

I honestly dont see a sweep. I think Detroit will look ahead and will get caught at least one game. You have to remember 3 of 4 games they won this year was by less than 5. They didnt win hands down and you know we still played a very sloppy game and only lost by 5 pts to the Pistons. They cant stop Howard, and if any of our shooters can catch on fire we have a good chance of taking them. I cant say we are gonna win the series but it wont be a sweep.
