Nelson led the Warriors to an 8-1 record on the month, including an impressive 121-108 win over Dallas on April 17. The team earned its first postseason berth since 1993-94 with a 120-98 win over Portland on Wednesday night and its .888 winning percentage represented the team?s best April in franchise history.

Other nominees for the Coach of the Month were Denver?s George Karl, Detroit?s Flip Saunders, New Orleans/Oklahoma City?s Byron Scott, Orlando?s Brian Hill and Toronto?s Sam Mitchell.</div>

Vince has been crazy this month he clearly deserves the award. Lawrence Frank actually got this team to play good basketball now so I guess he should get the coach of the month award.
