<div class="quote_poster">hoops4life Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">it is the fouls fault that we lost IMO. do you honestly think that if shaq and wade were NOT in foul trouble that we would have lost? they would have played more minutes, more aggresively, and have ahd a bigger impact on the game.</div> Do you think if Hinrich wasn't in foul trouble and he played more minutes and played more aggressively that he would have had a bigger impact on the game? See Bull fans can do the same thing, it goes both ways. Stop whining about the calls, you guys get your fair share of touch fouls when Wade drives. The Bulls outplayed the Heat and this game doesn't matter too much, considering the Bulls still have to win 3 more games to advance. It's only 1-0 and even if Chicago wins Game 2, the Heat won't be out of it with 2 home games.
<div class="quote_poster">hoops4life Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">im not trying to whine or make excuses. im just trying to say what i think would have helped us win.</div> scoring more points?
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">scoring more points? </div> lol. yeah, i guess that would have helped us as well.
Expect a much better effort from the Heat in game 2. We're a veteran team that knows knows a whole lot about bouncing back in the playoffs. I'm still confident we will win in six.
^^Agreed, I think they know they have to turn up the energy and come out with a lot more intensity. Eddie Jones needs to get going as well. I think Williams should come off the bench to be honest. I like Posey matching up against Deng or Nocioni. Also, Dorrell Wright could be huge for us in this series but none of the coaches seem to believe in him yet.
<div class="quote_poster">I-Miss-MJ Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">or they could ride DWade like they did last year.</div> With him being injured it's time for the other guys to step up. D-Wade had his moments in the finals but it was the contributions from the other guys that got us there as well. Shaq having a huuuuge game 6 against Detroit and Jason Williams too. Antoine Walker playing consistently and Haslem hustling like crazy. Now with guys like Kapono and Eddie Jones stepping in, they need to contribute as well.
Alonzo Mourning!! That's the way a leader comes out. Gets the hook, send Thomas to the floor on a pack and set up a Wade basket. Great job by Zo!
Of course we end up regressing and stop pushing the ball when we have Wade at PG. Dwyane be smart!! Its been working so why go away from it?? Zo's gotta catch the ball!
James Posey steps up with 2 HUGE threes. Gordon extended the arm on that blocking foul called on Posey I think but I'm not worried about that. Now Kapono's gotta get going and set up opportunities for Wade and Shaq.
Wow our defense sucks!!! J-Will should get benched for leaving Ben Gordon wide open. We need Wade Kapono Posey Haslem and Shaq out there!!!
Nice block from Shaq and a questionable call I admit. A personal but not a flagrant IMO but I'll take it. WTF..Steve javie is full of **** he was far from the play and made a BS call.
<div class="quote_poster">Playmaker15 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Wow where are the Heat fans??</div> watching the game! haha. 14 points in one quarter? dont count us out of this one just yet. we gotta shut down gordon starting NOW. we're double teaming too much, which is leading to wide open shots for the bulls. this is definitely some of the laziest D i've seen in some time. down to a nine point game now, nice drive by dwyane. hes gotta step it up by the way. hes just not the same as last years playoffs.
Wade is the only person who should touch the ball right now. I don't care how injured he is he better start scoring some pts. We NEED to win a game in Chicago, whether it be here, game 5, or game 7.
