Saw the largest dog thread and had to show off my big boy... yes, his name is trench. He is an American Pitbull Terrier. RazorsEdge/Watchdog These photos are of him at 19 months. He is a handful and pretty damn mean now. Wish I had socialized him a bit more. very loyal though to myself and the wifey...
I dont blame the dogs. I blame the owners. You have to be very responsible when owning dogs such as these. Trench is a teddy bear man, but I take all the necessary precautions to be sure he does not harm anyone. He is always fenced in, beware of dog signs everywhere, and I always have him kenneled when kids are around. I don't care how old the child is. He is always on a leash when outside my fenceline. ALWAYS. I dont care what anyone thinks. Plus, I take him to the beach etc.. on weekdays when there are not too many people around to bother him. Too many macho dudes out there owning pits and not knowing how to handle and care for them. RESPONSIBILITY MATTERS!!!
Nice looking dog there, Trench. My fianc?e and I love American Pitbull Terriers. Does yours have the humerous side they're often known to have? A little info though. Any type of Pitbull breed is known to have an imbalance in the brain in which some (few) can have unexpected mood swings and become violent for no apparent reason. That study is actually why some countries ban the breed from being sold as pets. This also can be found in German Shephards, but it is very rare. It is because of their original breeding purposes just so you know. However, for the most part, most dogs no matter the breed lash out from abuse. Trench is right that you do need to take special care of Pitbulls breeds no matter what their background. This goes for many other breeds as well, most notably the Rott and Doberman. Rotts are actually one of the funnier and sweetest dogs out there. Whenever you buy dogs you really need to read up on the breed you're interested in first. In most cases people buy dogs that aren't right for them and it ends up having bad consequences. I'm glad to see you take all precautions, Trench, good work man. Anyway, just thought I'd pass that on to anyone that doesn't know. Here's some newer pictures of my cat, Minou. I love our cat because he just gets along with everyone that comes over and even greets you when you come home.

My dog is like the perfect definition of a mut. We got her at the pound and they told us they think she is a collie spaniel mix but who knows.
