I doubted the team after the AI trade and even said over and over that parting with AI will be better for the francise in the future.

Well I didnt think things would pan out this well.

Everyone really pulled together and made the second half of the season pretty fun to watch. I thought it would of been alot worse.

I'm excited to see what we do this off season with all the draft picks and such. The only thing I hope they don't do is offer Iggy a lame contract extension making him bitter towards the team.

Andre Miller and Joe Smith were really nice additions and they brought some well needed vet leadership. Not only that but both would like to be back here next year.

Hats off to the team and looking forward to the off-season and next season as well.

Personally, I'm pissed that we basically won't have any chance of aquiring Oden or Durant, and that we'll be stuck with the 11th-12th pick of the draft. But either way though, next season should be really exciting. I'm hoping we can draft some nice pieces and keep the young core together so we can watch them grow and develop

I have a feeling miller could still be traded in the offseason to move up in the draft.

Unless it's for a top 5 pick, I'd rather us just keep Miller. We have the possibility of coming into next season with 4 rookies on our roster. I'm not exactly sold on the idea of eliminating all veteran presence on this young squad.

Anyways, personally, I don't think this team will be any better or any worse than where we are now. We'll just be mediocre. The 11th-12th pick of the draft isn't going to yield any instant results, and our latter picks will probably amount to nothing but role players. Sorry to be negative, but I'm not really expecting much of this squad next season. I'll be excited, but I doubt we'll really amount to anything. If you look at all the teams "worse" than us, most of them were just tanking. A lot of the games we won this season have been against injury ridden teams or teams that are just tanking, or teams that are resting their starters for the playoffs. Do you really think Boston has any less talent than us? Do you really think Memphis has any less talent than us? Look at their roster, both teams have a bunch of young players just waiting to bloom, plus a star player. The only reason why they ended up with such a horrible record was because of tanking, which is something we should have done. If Boston should end up drafting Greg Oden or Kevin Durant, pair that with Al Jefferson and Paul Pierce, they'll be a dangerous team down the line. Same with Memphis. Again, sorry for being a downer, but I still fail to see the positives of us winning so many games. IMO, we'll basically be in the same position next season, unless David Stern somehow rigs the draft for us

I give my hat off to Andre Miller. He`s the true PG that made sure everyone on this team got the ball in their hands. This kept our team flowing.

Who knows what the future holds. All I know is we`re rebuilding, and now it`s up to Billy King for bringing in the right pieces.

You guys could've easily tanked the season and had a chance for Oden or Durant. Now without a star franchise player(Iggy is not a franchise player), Sixers will probably dwell in mediocrity for some more time.

Exactly. I thought that with Iverson gone, we would actually start rebuilding. Instead, we leave off right where we were. Mediocrity. We're basically no better or no worse without Iverson. Next season, maybe we'll make it to the playoffs as the 8th or 7th seed, but we'll probably just get sweeped in 4 games. We'll continue to dwell in mediocrity until this team actually realizes which direction they really want to go. I'm very disappointed. I thought that with Iverson traded, we would actually start rebuilding. Instead, it looks like that's not the case. The 12th pick of the draft won't yield anyone special unless we get extremely lucky

I feel like we are just always going to be an average team if we continue on this path. We are not bad enough to get a top pick, nor are we good enough to win a championship. We are just what you see on TV, an average team. Iguodala will be a star in the league but he needs help. If they could have gotten Oden or Duran to team with him it sure would have helped.
