Rockets over Mavs. They'll be too tired from the grueling series against Golden State (I think Golden State swept them in the regular season so they could definitely make their series a good one).
<div class="quote_poster">Detroit Madness Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I'm glad you wanted to make a thread to humiliate yourself in about a week.</div> Golden State up 1-0 already........Seems you might wanna think before you talk kid
Golden State was 3-0 against Dallas in the regular season. So this win did not surprise me. Really, Golden State is one of the top teams in the West when they're healthy.
<div class="quote_poster">Rock4life Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Golden State up 1-0 already........Seems you might wanna think before you talk kid</div> I wouldn't mind if the The Warriors beat Dallas. It is not likely, but the chance is there.
Im pickin the nuggets over the spurs.. They have to much athletisim and they are hungry.. At first everyone made it seem like the trade for allen iverson was stupid and could the nuggets. But they took game one.. It wasnt the cutest game but Iverson and Melo were beasting.. Nene did a great job on tim duncan and marcus was there when they needed him... Nuggets 4-2 im callin it..
Miami over Chicago...if you consider that an upset. LOL, I got lucky when I posted this <div class="quote_poster">igotask8board Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Champs Next Year: Phoenix Most Improved: Portland and/or Toronto. They were at the bottom of the NBA last season, this season they could very well hope for at least that 8th spot. Acctually I think they will get 40 wins and barely miss the playoffs in a more competitive NBA. 08 season they will have that chem. 2nd MIP goes to Orlando, finally back in the playoffs. Houston will hopefully (finally) get to the second round. I can't say they are the most improved because they were always good, just injured. Chicago will make the playoffs and be eliminated during the first round, (3-7 seed). I would say 3/4 are about right.</div> http://www.justbball.com/forums/showpost.p...86&postcount=40 and said Chicago would be a first round exit. Who knew they would face Miami in the first?
<div class="quote_poster">707to805 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">2-1 warriors where's the love?</div> Check the beginning of this thread. I predicted Golden State over Dallas in 6. Obcourse a few of you thought I was crazy (what's new). But the Warriors only need to win two more games to end the series. This is gonna be good
I am not sure if this is a huge upset since the Bulls had home court advantage but I have give it up to the Bulls for sweeping the defending champions, Miami Heat. Chicago would be an interesting team from the East to make it to the Finals. The second round in the East is shaping up to be more thrilling. You have Chicago vs Detroit and possibly New Jersey vs. Cleveland.
<div class="quote_poster">igotask8board Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> MIAMI, I STILL BELIEVEEEE!</div> Its OK that you believed in Miami for so long, I believed in Santa until a was like ten.
<div class="quote_poster">Blur Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Its OK that you believed in Miami for so long, I believed in Santa until a was like ten.</div> Anyways, I had predicted Chicago going to finals with the squad they have. The only team that can have a chance of beating them in a 7 game series is Pistons. I knew they'd get past Heat, but not JUST in 4 games. They proved even better.
I don't know if Chicago losing is actually an upset. They are a talented team and Miami was never really the team they were from last season. I thought they would the series, but it wasn't really even that competitive.
I kept waiting and waiting and waiting for the Heat to shift into that 2nd gear like they always do come playoff time. They just never got it going this season. Wade teased me during that game against Indiana. Shaq needs to watch this movie. This years Bulls would not have beat last years Miami Heat team.
<div class="quote_poster">igotask8board Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> This years Bulls would not have beat last years Miami Heat team.</div> Oh, lord. Whatever you say. Anyway, for those of you who still don't believe in Chicago I guess you can consider Bulls over Detroit an upset.
No, the Bulls are instant favorites. Sweeping Orlando is NOTHING, but sweeping the half injured defending champs will give you some credibility. Everyone expects the Bulls to come out of the East. If the do, they will lose to Phoenix.
