<div class="quote_poster">THE DREAM Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">Kobe forcing too many bad shots....it's good when they're going in, but when they're not it's bad.</div> For once, I'm going to agree with you DREAM. I guess Kobe was hot early on, so I had no problem with him shooting, but towards the end of the 4th, fatigue set in. Kobe should've trusted his teammates more, but I'm not really sure how big of a difference that would've been
Yeah, Kobe took some really bad shots in the second half. Next game: Give Odom the ball in the post, damnit! And Luke as well. Sidenote: Barbosa has a funky accent.
Damn, that loss was such a waste, we had a pretty good chance of winning it entering the 4th quarter. Kobe was forcing too many tough shots over defenders, he should have drived to the basket more or at least trusted his temmates with the ball, especially to Odom who had a good night. If we Kobe keeps on doing this, we might as well throw the series. I hope they bounce back and win game 2 since they have shown that they are capable of beating phoenix.

When he's cold, he should pass it up and get others involved. But you can't really put too much blame on him, since he was the one who gave us the lead in the first place. Maybe if our role players could have actually hit some of their open shots for once, we would have won. Oh well, good game, good effort, but like always, we fell short. Bring on game 2...
<div class="quote_poster">lakers_kb24 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">When and what time is Game 2?</div> Game 2 is on Tuesday, April 24st at Phoenix. I believe it starts at 7:30pm on TNT

Too be honest with you, I'm not that worried. I think Kwame Brown's doing a good job and, just like last year, when he steps out on Nash, Nash ends up missing his shot. Lamar needs to take the ball to the hole more, and Kobe needs to realize when he gets cold, it is time to move the ball. THE REFS NEED GLASSES.
I think Kobe was worn out he kept the lakers in the game the 1st half but then it seemed he couldnt buy a shot. Other players are going to have to step up.
I don't think Kobe did the wrong thing. I think the offense did. It's the same play everytime. They give it to the top of the key to him and its an isolation play. You can't win like that! You have to run your offense. Get Bryant good shots. He shouldn't have to work that hard for those difficult shots he took.
Although I put some of the blamo on Kobe for forcing up tough shots, it still wasn't totally his fault since Barbosa simply blew past everyone in our defence.
<div class="quote_poster">lakers_kb24 Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I hope they bounce back and win game 2 since they have shown that they are capable of beating phoenix.</div> Not to start an argument, but when was this? In the last 8 games now (going back to last years playoffs), the Lakers have won one game against the Suns. That was the first game of the season as the Suns tried to work Amare into rhythm and were tired from a camp in Europe. Other than that, the Suns have made short work of the Lakers. Suns in 4.
The suns weren't trying to wear themselves up the first game game so they probably didn't try that hard.
