The Raptors all-star added that he was surprised at the "pushing, shoving" underneath. Still, he and Coach Sam Mitchell said the team would be fine "if we just go out there and play basketball". Raptors also didn't take kindly to Richard Jefferson's suggestion that by wearing red the Raptors fans had shown support for New Jersey.</div>

I'm pretty sure I put the wrong source for the article, I'm trying to find it as I write.

Bosh shouldnt even shed light on the Jefferson comments because it just lets NJ know that their headgames are working. Stop Worrying about a Red shirt and work on a winning gameplan.

    May the best team win!!!

If Bosh did say that (hasn't been shown that he did), then I agree. I don't see the point in getting angry at Jefferson. The Nets clowned Toronto's plan, plain and simple.

I know Jefferson was trying to be funny, but of course when you're quoting something from a Toronto newspaper, of course there will be fire and flames from it. Toronto fans didn't take too lightly to all this talk in the Jersey papers about Carter wanting badly to play Toronto. You have to understand that there is really bad blood between Carter and Toronto's fans as well, but all these headgames and mindgames makes the series alot more interesting, and of course it's only natural to defend yourself or your team when it comes down to it.

Bosh runs afoul of ex-mate Carter, Nets

<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Chris Bosh isn't about the join the Vince Carter-bashing brigade that has made its way around Canada the last few days. Bosh, Carter's former Toronto teammate, has too much respect for the player who used to be the face of the franchise.

After all, Bosh remembers the days when Carter was the one who had the responsibility of carrying the Raptors, not him.</div>

I don't see how. So what the fans all wore red and that was the same colour as the Nets...everyone in the entire stadium new that they were supporting the Raptors! The nets didnt get any sort of lift from it.....people talking about it like it actually matters are crazy

The Raps fans made it absolutely clear who they were supporting, and the endless boo's lead me to believe it wasn't Wince Carter and the Nets

The Raptors are inexperienced, so with that being said, their first game of the series can be noted as "jittery." New Jersey has plenty of experience, and they are trying to shed any confidence from Toronto.

In contrast to it all, I believe that Toronto will take it.

Well, the whole point of getting everyone in the arena to dress in the same colour as the home team, is to make the visitors stand out. It gives the feeling of being surrounded. Of course, I'm not saying it affects the other team in any way. But there's no denying that the Nets pulled a fast one on the dude's up top who thought of that plan. It was clever.
