<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Vince Carter, who helped the Nets secure the sixth seed with a 29/7/7 performance in April, said it all about his teammate: ?He is playing phenomenal basketball". With Carter going 5-for-19, it was up to Richard Jefferson to make up the difference, which he did with an 11-for-21, 28-point showing. And RJ is not alone. Jason Kidd has stepped up his game and Boki Nachbar, despite his playoff inexperience--and Toronto's animousity--is excited about his role.

Where would we be without RJ this season? He has really come up big in games where Vince didn't play well.

He saved them in game 1, Carter was missing hella shots, and Kidd only got a double-double off of rebounds and assits. That doesn't Kidd didn't have a good game, that was amazing, just means he didn't have enough points.
