does anyone have the espn insider...i want to know what marc stein wrote about in his blog about jessica alba and the warriors....who else is jumping on this bandwagon?
I thought Alba was a Lakers fan, but she can jump on my bandwagon . "Alba has that Warrior spirit by: Marc Stein posted: Tuesday, April 24, 2007 filed under: NBA Fastest-growing bandwagon in the NBA? You only get one guess. Of course, you probably only need one. It's the Golden State Warriors, obviously, after their Game 1 undressing of the 67-win Dallas Mavericks. How hot are the Warriors now? My sources in Hollywood tell me reliably that Jessica Alba has requested a ticket for Sunday's Game 4 in Oakland. Yes: I'm well aware that Alba and Baron Davis are longtime pals. But I'll go out on a limb and say that it's still a rather momentous occasion when an actress of Alba's hotness, er, stature, wants to fly in for a courtside seat. Alba, by all accounts, only hits Warriors games when they're in L.A. This will apparently be her maiden trip to Oakland . . . after she undoubtedly realized that even Jessica Alba would have a tough time scoring Friday night tickets for Golden State's first home playoff game in 13 years."
Yep. Thanks. Eva Longoria sat near me two years ago, and hotness is magnified on TV, film, etc. In real life, they are hot but not out of this world hot.
I think Jessica Alba has always been a fan of the Warriors. In fact I know him and that kid from Malcom in the Middle go to Warriors games. Maybe they only make it when they are in LA, but I could have sworn I have seen a game where the announcers talked about them being die hard fans. This is just another example of national media not knowing JACK about the Warriors!

I think Alba has actually been to a few Warrior games before (?), maybe they were away games in LA. Its funny how many random celebrities Baron is "long time friends" with, it seems like half of the NBA is one of his "best friends" too. Philsmith, that wouldn't happen to be the W's-Spurs double OT game would it? I went to that game and she was about 12 rows down from me. She was obviously there for Tony Parker though.
Alba used to be a Magic fan. She'd come to games when she was in Orlando and was seen wearing a McGrady jersey back when he was here. She's a bandwagoner!
I wouldn't be surprised to see Kate Hudson there either, her and BD are real good friends and I believe she came to some games before.

Can Jessica Alba distract Dirk Nowitzki on the court? If she can, and it makes Dirk suck like he did on Sunday, then I am thrilled. Someone better give her a ticket then, haha. And since Baron is friends with her I guess, then there wouldn't be distractions between the Warriors and her. I don't know, I am not into that whole star-gazing thing and celeberty thing. But she does catch the eye with her looks. But philsmith is probably right about people looking more attractive in films, magazines, or what have you then they are in just normal everyday mode. But really I didn't think anybody liked the Warriors. I mean just listen to KNBR. The Warriors are non-existant most of the time, even in the Bay. Which may be a reason why maybe, just maybe we could give the national media some slack, even if they call themselves "experts" at times. It's cool to see that Warriors fans exist outside of online message boards, haha. I guess everyone has just been waiting for this to happen all along before they came out. And hey, what is there to talk about after so many years of losing anyway. (agh to many tangents...I'm filling in for custodianrules2 here maybe).
I gotta buy me a copy just for the collector's item. Yes, I know, I don't care if there's no nudity. She could be wearing a full length coat and cap and she'd still be smokin.
