<font color=""Navy"">New Jersey Nets @ <font color=""purple"">Toronto Raptors (Nets lead series 1-0)
Time: Wednesday, April 24th, 2007 7:00 EST
TV: YES
Away/Home

Starting Lineups:

New Jersey Nets:

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

PG:Jason Kidd
SG:Vince Carter
SF:Richard Jefferson
PF:Jason Collins
C:Mikki Moore

Toronto Raptors:

[IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG][IMG]

PG:TJ Ford
SG:Morris Peterson (?)
SF:Anthony Parker
PF:Chris Bosh
C:Rasho Nesterovic

*Key players in bold

Keys to the Game:

-Play the same style as the Raptors do, like in game one, so that they can't beat us by running vs our set game.

-VC needs to try to forget the crowd and the boos and start scoring.

-Containing Bosh and getting him into early foul trouble is key.

-Jefferson and Kidd need to play like they know, just like they did in Game One, especially Jefferson who's needed if Carter can't score.

Prediction: If we play like we did in Game One, plus a better performance from VC, then it'll be Nets +6. If we let Bosh rip us apart and VC doesn't play well, then it's Raptors +8.

This is exactly why I do not want to re-sign Carter. What the hell is the guy doing? Nothing, freakin' waste of space.

Well it's not like he's the only one missing shots.

When is he going to get it through his head he needs to stop shooting jumpers? How stupid can you be? RJ isn't shooting well, but at least he's driving in, and trying to draw fouls. Carter is taking fadeways, on TJ Ford. Are you serious?

Does anyone notice how physical they are letting the Raptors get? Whenever the Nets try to answer back, they get called.

I think Parker got away with a push on Vince on that last rebound. How come they have only given RJ the ball down the stretch when it was VC who got them game 1?

Bosh hit RJ's arm, not hand, on that last shot. No call.

Pretty bad officiating, I feel bad for Nets fans.

If anyone got them game 1, it was RJ. VC had a horrendous shooting night on game 1.

Stop complaining, bad calls for both sides, Bosh was getting raped on every play, no calls. The refs decided to let this game grind out. The Raptors have not played to the full potential at all, a very uncharacteristic game for the Raptors, when the Raptors start playing our ball, we will take this series.

It doesn't matter. Nets really sucked this game. Let's see what happens on Friday.

Are you kidding? The officiating was consistently bad. Bosh was getting absolutely mauled through the first three quarters and they wouldn't call anything. The difference is the Raps stepped up and played the game like the officials were calling it, while VC continued to fadeaway on players half his size.

I agree that throughout the game the officiating was bad, but to just let them slap RJ's ARM at a key shot is a bit overboard. They let the game get too physical.

Believe it or not, the boo's are getting to Carter. Carter has shot poorly and has mostly settled for fade away j's (what a surprise!?@#). He has shot 14-43 from the field for a dismal 32%.

Maybe it's cause he's on his way out of NJ, and he's not trying like he didn't try in Toronto.

I think he's definitely trying. The Toronto situation was totally different, because he had guaranteed money and was just trying to get to a different team. Everything he does right now though, will affect how much money he makes in the offseason. I think its a combination of Anthony Parker's defense and the hostile Toronto crowd that's just totally got him off his game.

Either way, I think we can both agree that Vince Carter is SOFT. [IMG]

I definitely agree, but Game 3 should be a good test for him. He's sucked at the ACC all season, but has played real well in NJ. If he comes out playing like crap again, then I don't see how anyone could possibly defend the dude.
