This should be another good game. I look for Utah's bench and starters to really produce. It will be tough for the Rockets to win, but I think they can if they shoot the ball well and execute like they have been doing down the stretch. This game 3 win for the Rockets may guarantee the series win because nobody has every come back from 3-0 deficit but we still got to do good.. It will be very tough playing in utah with their crowd rallied.. so the rockets need to just focus on winning and not relax.

If the Rockets shoot the ball well and take either of the next 2 road games. They win the series.

    Keys to the game:
    1) start out strong...dont want another comeback in 3rd lets get it done in beginning
    2) shoot the 3 ball well
    3) Less turnovers
    4) contain boozer

Was trolling the Utah fan boards and came across this post by a Jazz fan.

"I will give you some secrets on how to beat the Jazz...

#1 take the ball to the basket EVERY time down the court - especially the 35 minutes that AK is on the bench. The Jazz have nobody who can offer any resistance at the hoop.
#2 give chuck hayes about 25 shots in the low post - I realize this would go away from everything you've done offensively all year, but he would get an efficient 30+ points, possibly tire Boozer out a little (only a little because he doesn't really play much defense anyway, hence Hayes scoring success in the first place) and it would instill confidence in the youngster.
#3 play a zone defense on the jazz at least half the time - if Okur, Deron or Giri get hot, go to #4.
#4 continue to play Boozer man to man - play tight defense on everyone else, not only can most Jazz players not create their own shot, most are not allowed to do so.
#5 say your prayers each night thanking your God that Sloan continues to guard McGrady with Fisher
    #6 ditto...........................................................................
...continues to keep Brewer on the bench
    #7 ditto...........................................................................
    ...continues to give Collins minutes
#8 don't ever take an outside shot. this team is one of the worst defensive teams in the NBA (if not the worst) and everytime you take an outside you are bailing them out. Drive to the basket, you should score or get fouled nearly everytime.
#9 in game four, after Chuck Hayes has had his confidence boosted with a career high 30 points in game 3, go back to Yao in the post 35 times at minimum - you have to make Memo or Boozer play defense (or at least fake trying to play defense) on every possession.
#10 continue to do what you are doing - you couldn't buy a 3 point basket in game two, Yao and Tmac combined for 18-53 shooting and you still won by 8 freaking points in a game that Boozer scored 41.
#11 laugh at jazzfanz who complain about the refs who were about as "fair" as you can expect towards the visiting team.
#12 did I mention that you guys should attack the basket every time down the floor? do that.
    # 13 Harpring comes from a football family - keep telling him he's tough."

Since its pointless asking Rock, Umair..have you changed your mind about the starting role? Hayes has come up big in shutting Okur down (and imo saved us in game 2).

First of all, Durvasa, no one is flip-flopping so save the comments please.

I would just like to say that the reason I said Juwan Howard should start over Hayes was because I was expecting Utah to double up on Yao and leave Hayes open, but since they didn't use that strategy, and since Hayes is doing amazing "starting", I would like to keep him starting. Teams were successful against us using that strategy, and I really thought Jazz would use that strategy which is why I wanted Juwan to start, but since they didn't I like Hayes starting.

It is very frustrating watching our players not making a damn basket. Our only chance now is the T-Mac show in the 4th. But I doubt.

    Our bench sucks.
    Juwan is playing like trash.
Luther can't hit anything unless hes open.
    Deke can't catch the ball.

Its times like this that I wished JVG developed Novak and Vspan.

    My God...

22 pts in the entire 2nd half
0 (ZERO!!!) points from the bench
    Only 4 players scoring
Lowest score in a playoff game

Congratulations, we surely have some negative records now...

Guys.. its all good.. They took game 3 like they were supposed to.. I predicted this.. My predictions are right.. We WILL win game 4.. and game 5.. thats the series.. I knew that they would take game 3 especially when you are down 2-0 because if it was 3-0 (noone has every come back to ever win a series) they would be in big trouble.. Im 90% sure we will take game 4 and 5.. T-mac was mad tonight PLUS i can tell Luther and Juwan will show up in game 4

So I have probably saw another game. We played really good and strong defense, not them, and we have lost the most winnable game of the series because of our offense.

The Rockets offense has been broke all playoffs, but this was the worst offensive game we played all year. Give a lot of credit to Utah's defense. They didn't allow Yao to get post ups close to the basket, they sent multiple defenders at Tracy on the perimeter, and they were quick to close out our shooters on the perimeter.

The Rockets have been shooting lousy all series, but this time they compounded the problems by turning it over too much and giving up too many offensive rebounds on the other end. I thought it was a mistake keeping Luther in the game throughout the 4th quarter. He didn't add anything offensively, and he really hurt our defense. I thought we should have played those final five minutes with our starters.

Ya...I didn't get any sleep last night (took care of half my courses today.) And I was looking forward to this game.

I passed out 10 minutes before the game, and woke up when Sloan was being interviewed 4-5 minutes after the game ended. I'm kind of glad I missed it.

Did I miss anyhing worthwhile? They might replay it on FSN and I just might watch it.

It was an ugly game. I'd skip it.
