give me a break, Bynum is too inconsistent in the post. He's not quick enough to stay up with Amare. It doesn't matter anymore, the Lakers lost the momentum and team chemistry is STINK. [red]*I'm pissed as you are but ease off the cursing. -Mel[/red]

We really have to stop tossing up those threes. All it does is lead to long rebounds and deep outlet passes. We need more slip screens to get the bigs setup in the paint in good position.
this series is basically over, if we had any chance at all we just lost it by losing this game, there is no way we can come back from this.
Wow, I watched till the 3rd quarter; I was under the expectation that this game would be close, and damn was I wrong! The Suns were shooting the lights out for 3 straight quarters, they especially took control in the 2nd quarter. Last time I was watching, Kobe was on the bench (CLEARLY frustrated, he kind of looked like he was about to knock someone out) and Odom and Evans were jacking up 3 pointers with Bynum fighting for position on the block. Barbosa is simply amazing. The shots he's knocked down, and the speed at which he plays is just ridiculous. Ditto for Nash's UNBELIEVEABLE passing skills, and his good shot selection. The Suns played very unselfish basketball, and it ended up killing the Lakers because of thier weak defence. Most of the shots that the Suns have gotten was because of good passing and spacing, and basically just driving and dishing. The play where Marion & Nash ran the pick & roll, and Marion received a perfect thread pass, but instead of throwing it up, decided to pass it to Amare under the net, was a perfect example of this team's unselfishness. Meanwhile, the Lakers offence is STAGNANT...no one cuts, everyone either just stands around watching one person, or somebody will throw up an ill-advised three. However, Jordan Farmer did impress me somewhat tonight; he is better than Smush, and he's only a rookie. On another note, Brian Cook's game annoys the hell out of me.

Talk about abunch of classless fans. Hopefully he will be alright.
<div class="quote_poster">notMuchgame Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">man, **** the phoenix fans that are cheering kobe getting hurt ... seriously</div> yeah, that was bullsh*t. he looks to be okay but they totally crossed the line there.
We better win game 3 and Kobe is probably going to watch the tape where he got booed when he fell down and he will come to Phonix with alot of fire. There is still hope.
ya that was ****** up... i think those fans realized how f-ed up they were when they cheered for a little bit...then gave applauses when kobe got back up...but still, f-ed up
I don't think most fans new what was going on in that play, I was confused myself. I think some felt bad when they heard booes and cheered when he got up. I'll speak for myself and say I felt elated when we were up at halftime, but then I just felt terrible for Kobe. It must be frustrating, but Mitch got a first hand look and it probably helps for him to feel that humilation, at least you guys have the best player in the league to biuld around for next year. Hope no frustration fouls sideline any players for either team.
Our greatest weakness lies in giving up. The most certain way to succeed is always to try just one more time. Lakers4Life
I've heard it from tons of people involved in the NBA, the Suns organization and its fans are the most classy you'll find around the country. I've never seen a Phoenix crowd cheer for an injury... but then again this was Kobe, I dunno why people hate him, maybe it's his attitude, how good he is, or that his dad never told him "no means no". I don't mind Kobe, actually I'd say I like him, he's fun to watch; but I guess he rubs some people the wrong way (no pun intended). So feel free to take this one freak incident and talk badly about Phoenix, because we all know how saintly LA fans are. "May he without sin cast the first stone..." -- we're not ruthless like Philly fans, nor are we fanatic as Boston or New York fans, we simply cheer for our teams, we don't do a lot of trash talking to the other teams (which I've not only seen at the games, but I've heard from several opposing players during interviews about Phoenix). I'm sure everybody in Phoenix hopes Kobe is healthy, there's no fun in beating a team without its best player (though the one Laker win this year against Phoenix was without Kobe).

Why isn't Vlad starting or atleast getting some playing time. Hall of Fame or not, this coach makes the most dispicuble choices i've ever seen. The Lakers can't sign any players and when they do it will take 2 decades to learn the triangle. I pray to God they don't extend him. And if he's f^ck!ng the boss' daughter, I say promote his ass to GM and bring in Larry Brown.
