I didnt know where to post this but i just wanted to say... What do phoenix suns fans (the fans watching live) have against kobe bryant??? Ok everytime he gets in the arena the crowd chants 'Kobe sucks', fine i can deal with that. He NEVER hurt or fought with any phx suns member and still that hate is there. He gets clotheslined by BELL last year DURING A GAME (not after, not during a TO but during play) and they make a fad over it and laugh at kobe??? What? Ok maybe it's simply competitive? right? STILL NO! The dude gets hurt last night AND STILL THE SUNS FANS IN THE ARENA ARE SO LOW and DISRESPECTFUL and try to start up everyone by cheering 'Kobe sucks' again... Yeah, when he got up they clapped, but the ones who actually clapped sounded like a small group (around 1000 out of 18k) of laker and RESPECTFUL (phoenix ones) fans. How can anyone cheer when someone gets hurt? No other team's fans does this Im only referring to the fans inside the arena, maybe some phx fans here in JBB can help explain why this happens.
It happens everywhere really … I’d like to believe it was just a loud minority most of the time, including last night.
I don't really find it a big deal. After all the drama from last year, it should be expected for the Suns fans to be hostile towards this Lakers team. Cheering when somebody is down is kind of extra, but there's no real explanation for the question you're asking.
u can think of it this way...the more ppl that shows hate towards kobe just prove how great kobe is...u wont find this kind of hype toward other so called 'great' players. the more hate there is means the better he is becoming i'm not a kobe fan but a phx fan...those who cheered tho, were classless...... it's a disgrace for such a gd team to hv fans like that...
