Brown comes up in every vacancy, but I hadn't heard him connected to Memphis before. Philadelphia, Charlotte... those rumors were common. LB in Memphis? It sounds weird at first, but it starts to make sense when you think about it.</div>

I actually heard about this on PTI and then looked it up. This would be really cool if it happened. Might help the Grizzlies out. And Larry Brown could really help out a rookie like Oden or Durant too, if they get em.

Is Larry Brown really that different from Mike Fratello?

And theres no arrogant "me-first" player in the grizzlies. So there would be less chance for the Knicks part 2 to happen.

Hes a good coach, will get them to play the right way as long as there is no egos on the team. But hes known to be hard on his point guards and doesn't like playing the youth that much.

Dosen't Larry Brown like hate young players or something? Correct me if i'm wrong, but if he hates the young guys, how is he going to help the Grizziles?

He prefers veterans over young players, but considering how young the Grizzlies are, I don't really see how it can hurt them

Seeing how much Darko Milicic played under Larry Brown in Detroit, he's obviously not very fond of young talent.

Larry Brown is not fond of players who don't want to learn. This notion he doesn't like young players is an urban legend. Let's not forget where his coaching roots started, in college, he also allowed Tayshaun Prince to play in crucial spots during his rookie season.

Larry Brown isn't one of those coaches who's going to put up with an immaturity and selfish behavior.

This will be an interesting fit for Larry Brown, the Grizzlies have a lot of coachable talent, and Gasol is a legit building block for this franchise.

If Brown becomes the coach, Stromile Swift will be one of the players Brown will want shipped out immediately.
