don nelson said his team has no chance of beating the dallas mavericks in the series..something like its more likely for them to be hit by lightning. ill post the link and quote when i find it. if someone finds it before me feel free to post it.

He's gotta keep the underdog mind-set going. That's what has been working. So keep doing it; that's his motto it seems. Go with the matchups and things that are working. Playing the underdog mind-set seems like the way to go. Gotta keep this team hungry and playing hard...

Then don't let them read this:

"The Warriors entered the series with a 37.8% chance of winning, and after the Game 1 upset -- get this -- there's a 59.6% chance of Golden State taking the series. In other words, the 67-win team is now the underdog."

If the Warriors can claw out a win here, the series is all but over. I love this team!

The Warriors cannot be relaxed going into this game, they have to come out with the same fire as game 1 and close this game out. Who knows we might see the 8th seed sweep the best team in the NBA. I would call that the biggest upset in all of sports.

Yeah, me too. But, If GS doeas win this game, then the series wound either end in 7 games or 5. With GS winning in both of those.

Gotta keep in mind the Rockets/Mavericks series from two years ago. Down 0-2, Dallas came back to win in 7.

yeah but I think if they win and are 2-0 don nelson will not allow them to lose the series and plus...if they win again tonite then it will be clear that nellies game plan is unstopable against dallas and dallas wont really have a chance to win the series.

Gonna be a fun one tonight. I would agree that whoever pulls it out tonight will definitely carry the momentum the rest of the way. As far as Nellie saying those things, I think he is just saying what everyone else was thinking outside that organization and I think his players know what he is doing. Interesting move...
