Who is going to get the starting job. I think that Green will get it as long as he's healthy.

I read an article that stated that Gado might be the best man for the job. Why? Samkon is more suited to the new Denver style zone blocking scheme.

I think they'll start Green. I think Gado will be excellent as a relief back. Hopefully this year they can keep each other fresh. Davenport is I guy I've always loved as a guy that comes in when defences are tired but he also can't stay healthy

Gado isnt talented enough to be a fulltime starter IMO. ahman has more talent but is at the point in his career where idk if he can be the guy either. looks like a rb by committee situation, and that usually means you dont have anyone good enough.

Green is coming off a tear of of his Quad muscle, i very hard to treat injury, in fact that same injury ended Santan Dotson's career I beleive. Gado is the healthiest and Liberty college ran a system similar to the Zoneblocking scheme so he fits the system, he does have talent, not alot of natural running back skill IE vision of holes, but the ZOneblocking scheme can make just about any running back look good and Gado should excell in it.

I vote Gado because Green just came out of an injury that may slow him down and Gado has been impressive in his games. If not, possibly backup.

RB by committee. Gado will probably start because he'll see a lot more reps with Green not ready until mid August but RB will probably be by committee.

I think Green will start. If he struggles or isn't 100% "back," though, they won't hesitate to plug in Gado as the starter.

    It's Green's job to lose.

I agree that Gado isn't talented enough to be a fulltime starter, and I'm guessing Green goes down with an injury at some point during the season. I would guess that Green is the starter out of respect, but that he doesn't get nearly as many carries as he is used to.

I personally think that the RB by committee can work well - in fact it worked OK for the Vikings a few years ago. You need to have some quality RBs, but I think all of them are talented enough to work as a group.

I will respectfully disagree here. I think Gado may develop into a solid starter in the NFL. From the limited time we have watching him play, I would say the jury is still out on that one. Of course, i am pulling for him because he is a strong Christian guy. I hope he makes it. My point, though, is that it's a little early to write him off. Then again...I am still campaigning for Tim Couch so reading this post is a huge waste of your time.

AH! I fell for both of those posts. But I have to say, it didn't seem like a waste of time.

I'm with kcgsc on this one ... pulling for Gado. He was here in Delta County last night. Here's a link to the story in tonight's local newspaper.

Thaks for the link Zack. I am printing a copy for my keepers folder. I like hearing these stories much more than which player pulled a gun on someone last week.

Gado is definately a class guy, and knows how to keep things in perspective. He understands that he can lose his chance/oppurtunity just as fast as he got it.
