I heard that Rodney H may go on or is already on PUP. Any truth to this? Other forums this has already occured. However, I googled it and can't confirm it personally.
He did tear 3 major ligments in his knee and he is how old now? I seriously doubted he could come back from it at all.
The Pats are being very quiet about Rodney, but yes he is on the PUP list for now. Some feel he'll be ready for opening day & some think he may not play at all, so I have no clue. lol
There was a story on ESPM/com yesterday where the Pats placed 10 on PUP. It included Seymour and Sullivan who they got from the Saints for Bethel Johnson.
Yes but as long as they're taken off prior to the season opener they remain eligible to play at the start of the season.
I think the secondary will be fine even if Harrison can't be his usual self. I'm somewhat concerned with their depth at LB and QB. Right now there are only 2 QBs going for a roster spot and 2 going for a spot on the practice squad. I know he hasn't and hopefully won't, but IF Brady goes down this season I don't know how well Cassell can do. I don't even want to think about it really. With the LBs, I don't think there will be a problem if they stay healthy. If there are even 2 injuries to the LB group I think the defense will suffer a lot. As long as Bruschi and Seymour are healthy I think the defense as a whole will be decent but we all know that decent isn't good enough. I wish we could have Ty Law back but we all know that isn't happening. Hopefully Belichick has some tricks up his sleeve for the upcoming season in case injuries plague the team like they did in '05.
