I actually had time to catch a game, what a game! Kwame! We played like we did in games 2-5 last year, I fully expect us to take this momentum and contend in game 4.

This time Kobe trusted his teammates to make plays in the end despite some of them missing shots. Hopefully we can get the same contribution from our role players on Sunday.

    Go Lakers !!!!!

YES!!! We won! I actually thought "here we go again" when I saw that the Suns were leading by 17 in the first quarter. But, good job to the Lakers for battling back and not giving up. But, I had bad luck though cause this game wasn't televised in my area it was such an annoyancee for me.. But, anyway at least we pulled of a win..

    Win Game 4 LAKERS!!!

even in a good game, smush made himself look like an idiot ...

but yeah, this game erases some of the anguish of the last two games...

if you think about it, we HAD game under control one until the 4th quarter collapse. Game two was a disaster but we've been competitive two out of three, so a few adjustments here and there and perhaps we can tip the scale to our favor.

    go lakers!

What mistakes did Smush do this time?

(I just noticed the bench points, and damn were we blown out. We only scored about 6 from the bench, onle Bynum and Cook scored.)

He tried to dunk as time expired (one of those flashy dunks to make himself feel better) but got fouled hard by Raja (can't blame Bell in that situation). Then D'Antoni got pissed and started hollering at the refs/Smush because of that (like he always does).

yeah, basically what the poster above me said. With the Lakers up 6 and the win sealed, all we had to do was run out the clock and for some reason Smush decided it would be a good idea to pad his stats with about a second left in the game and Raja rightly fouled him hard, while D'Antoni screaming at smush. The refs originally called the foul, but then they decided to waive it off because it was retarded to reward Smush in that situation

What a game, just got back from Staples.

Lakers really played great tonight. That "Kwame" chant we got going was great. I must say it's really nice to cheer for someone not named Kobe all the time.

Lamar played great too. Smush and Shamu were great on defense.

I was a little disappointed at Sasha and Ronny's DNP tonight.

Fans at Staples were nuts tonight man, we were high fivin' everybody, lotta down ass people...We were talkin' smack to these Suns fans with Nash jerseys on, I swear some Laker fans were about to fight these Suns fan, it was getting real rowdy.

Well, we got a series on our hands now boys, hopefully we go in with the same energy and momentum from tonight. Only thing that worries me about Game 4 on Sunday is that it's an afternoon game and it's on ABC, the Lakers never win on ABC! Time to break that streak......

I dont wanna predict, but I think LA if they play hard enough and execute on offense then they will win game 4 so 2-2 I GUARANTEE YOU THIS if laker win game 4, and its 2-2, who ever wins game 5 will win the series no matter what

i got to watch this game today so im in a very good mood, i am so pleased with the way we played today, my recent posts about how much kwame and odom suck were proven wrong today, they both played extremely well, i hope we continue this momentum throughout this series, then we may be quite difficult for the suns to beat.

The Lakers played great today. That end of the game play by smush was pathetic. Thank god they didn't continue with it and make smush take those free throws.

The suns will come back with vengence in mind for sure come Sunday so the Lakers need to keep their composure and continue to execute. They played good defense today. I was very happy they made a game out of it, after that first quarter killing by the Suns... Kobe's going to have to carry the team the rest of the way, and trust his teammates like he did tonight.

The suns only got 10 fast break points in the game and the Lakers really clogged up the lanes and played help defense.

If the Lakers can keep the Suns under 100 points, I think we can take game 4. GOT TO HAVE FAITH!! IN KOBE WE TRUST!

Damn, Smush is really stupid. Good thing the refs waived that call.

    Wow!!!!!!!!!!

That?s all I have to say about that game last night? I can see now how having camaraderie can help the situation a bit. Although I do believe the help defense and EFFORT, that Kobe and PJ were trying to instill into these players finally showed up.

I wanna say that this game may have put some confidence into these guys and maybe some doubt in to Suns--wishful think on the Suns part? But hopefully, its this win that could give us the boost we need for game 4. Just tie it up!!!!! That's all I care for now--Tie it up!!!!!

I know the other day I was getting down on Kwame and Odom; more on Kwame though, because of their efforts. But they really redeemed themselves in this game. AND the fact that Kwame was playing with 2 hurt ankles playing really strong to the basket; I couldn't have asked for anything more. He just needs to do this every night.

Anyways, great win for the Lakers?

    Lets take game 4!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You guys are punks man, all you do is talk sh!t about Smush.

How did Smush know how much time was on the clock? He didn't.

How bout' calling Raja out on the play for that unneccessary foul? You guys are laker fans, how bout supporting the players, even if they're not gonna be on the team next year.

I didn't see the play, but if someone tries to dunk the ball when the game is clearly sealed, they deserve to be fouled. I'm sure if Raja Bell had tried to do that on the Lakers, you would want Smush to have fouled him as well.

We're 1-0 in this series when Kwame can catch his passes!

Fantastic effort by the Lakers last night, but playing at home usually breeds confidence for the bench players on any team. All I kept asking myself was, "Why can't we always play like this?" The Lakers were swarming on defense, rotating with conviction, going after every loose ball and rebound, and taking it strong to the rim. I didn't see this team do anything extraordinary, they just played hard, and it resulted in a win against a very good Phoenix team.

PJax did a better job with his rotations in this game, by shortening his bench and playing his starters heavy minutes. Playoff basketball, you need your best 5 on the court for the duration of a game, whoever's hot needs to be out there with the starters.

    Who gives a crap.

If you're out with all your homies, and you always have that one dude out of your group is always talkin' crap and starting trouble, you still back him up, and you still get down for him. Then afterwards you tell that fool to stop messin around.

I mean if that was Kobe instead of Smush? All you guys woulda been talkin sH!t about Raja, this that, but because it was Smush, you guys take Raja and D'antoni's side? **** THAT! Until Smush is no longer wearing the P&G, I will continue to support every Laker player.

It's one thing to support a player, and another support his actions. What Smush did was poor sportsmanship, and just gives Phoenix added motivation for Sunday.

I'd be pissed regardless of who did it. If Kobe did it, I'd criticize him, if Odom did it I'd criticize him, it was just stupid on Smush's part.

Smush is always the person to make a fool of himself and disrespect the Laker jersey. He has no class as a professional player. He's the punk, not the people criticizing his actions.

Another bonehead play he made was when Kobe missed a shot, and the 24 second shot clock hadn't reset. Smush got the offensive rebound, and then dribbled it out eventhough there were only 5 seconds left on the shotclock. He didn't even realize the shotclock hadn't reset, and he ended up having to take a bail out shot instead of taking it to the room right after he rebounded it. He's just not into the game mentally and is not focused enough on the court.
