How can you honestly blame sam for this loss....
How do u explain the players not bringing the energy required to win a playoff game... Sam is a coach, he's not the player on the court..
THESE GUYS GOTTA BRING IT.... its inexcuseable.... TERRIBLE EFFORT.

You blame COY for getting no effort from Graham,Bargs, and a couple of the starters.... come on now.

NJ won because they played harder.... Lawrence frank made few adjustments to have carter come off screens but thats no brainer.
I dont blame sam for this loss, i blame the players.

If BC is smart as he claims to be, bring Mitchell back and get rid of those bench players of ours....</div>

<div class="quote_poster">boshbosh Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">I know its a bit too early to decide, but i strongly beleive that colangelo should let Sam Mitchell go now. Offensively, the team is ok. Defensively, we are terrible. We cant expect to win games or make it to the playoffs if our defence isnt upto par. hell no.
We need a better coach. A coach that will implement a better defensive strategy. This team has no problem scoring.
Larry brown could be a good candidate.
Let me know what you guys think.
I SAY FIRE MITCHELL NOW, before its too late in the season.</div>

I think its fair to say that every raptor fan out there is upset at the moment..

Im not the biggest sam mitchell supporter.... but i dont think we can hold him responsible for this loss....
Its really hard and frustrating for any coach to implement any strategy if your players arent executing them. eg Graham, bargs, Mopete, etc..

Basketball is not a complicated game, if you do the right things at the right time, like rebounding, set proper screens, and take good shots... you be fine..

How in da hell did Jason Kidd get 16 rebounds.... somebody tell me..

EFFORTS EFFORTS EFFORTS... you gotta bring it in the playoffs and the raps didnt bring it tonite.. .. too Lackadasical.....

We all know Mitchell is still learning on the job. But he's proven that he can win when he's got good players.....

Can he win in the playoffs with this group? Answer still up in the air.

Whether we get new coach or not..... You need players that can perform on a consistent basis in order to win in this league... That was apparent tonite in game 3... its all about playing hard like its your last game... Basketball aint a complicated game..

Kidd had 12 of his 16 rebounds on defense, and that's because he has bad defensive rebounding big men, and like always crashes the boards very well. The 4 offensive rebounds I can understand complaining about, but not all the 16.

This is going to be a trade off series, no doubt.

If Bosh wants to be a "superstar" player in this league...hes gotta develope a right hand. Seems like they are just forcing him right and he is not comfortable driving against his opponents at all. not to mention they force him right and with like 2 guys helping to clog up the middle.

    <div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">F'in ridiculous.

You're telling me the best shot our offense can generate is a Ford/Calderon jumpshot off a pick? Is it that friggin' difficult to generate an quality look for Chris Bosh? And how the hell does NJ run the same damn play 10 times in a row and we make no adjustments?

Coach of the Year my ass...</div>

This almost sounds like you are surprized....this has been happening all year.
I don't like Sam, but lets call this game as it was. Joey Graham couldn't stop RJ from making easy buckets, JKidd was an absoulte beast, VC outclassed Bosh by a football field, and Bargs is still looking very bad. We can't play to our strengths. I think we can all agree that the Raps main reason they won the division was our bench. With Garbo gone and Andrea all but useless because of being out of game shape and covered in rust, is it any surprize that the Raps have looked this bad? The only reason the Raps won game 2 was that Jersey missed loads of open looks.

Terrible luck with Garbo and Bargs. This ship is sinking. Mo and Joey have to step up, and Bosh has to start playing better. I don't care what the coach says or does, if you are an allstar start playing like one.
You making fun of COY, I do remember Raps fans chanting MVP for CB4. 11 points don't cut it. MVP MY ASS.

Woa, woa, guys, I'm usually not an apologist for anyone, but don't let the frustration get to you. Bosh has been playing very well all year without us complaining about his lack of a right hand. Of course Bosh wasn't MVP, people got excited, but no need to start bashing him. It's his first playoff appearance, he's on the road, and if he stuggles it's understandable. The Nets are a FAAAAARRRR more experienced team, so they have that going for them. Now, they definately don't have a better strategic coach than Sam even though Sam is no genius in that area, Lawrence Frank just sucks too.

Their Top 3 talents are still much better than the Raptors though, they have more experience, and it's the playoffs. Let's see what happen next game.

Nothing was going great from the get go. 10 straight points, but at least I understand why the Nets looked like the were on LSD and the Raptors looked slow and disinterested. It was the ride into Jersey, and the 'barf bags' to quote Parker's request for everyone on the trip. Now that they're settled they can start playing better defence for Game 4. Game 4? Wow, it seemed like only yesterday we were talking about Game 1. I pick the Raptors to regain home court advantage on Sunday. Anybody with me on this?

I have faith too, but the way they've been playing doesn't give me much confidence right now. Bosh is yet to figure out the defense and without him and our useless bench, we're toast.
