That's what I like about Saban; always willing to upgrade a weakness rather than stand pat like....well you know.

The only issue is, what is QB rating w/ moss and w/o moss. Can chambers be moss for culpepper? I dont know if moss can still be moss. I think harrington will be the guy

I think Chambers is one of the most if not the most underrated wide out in the NFL, he has put up some very good numbers considering the QB's who were supposed to be giving him the ball(Feidler, Feely, Ferotte etc)

i think Daunte will do fine he has plenty of weapons along with Chambers.... Ronnie Brown in the backfield, Randy McMichael at TE if Daunte returns to 2004 form the Dolphins will be one of the best offenses in then league.... big if

I think Chambers has a Pro Bowl year. The Dolphins make it as a Wild Card and Culpepper puts up solid numbers and easily holds of Joey Harrington. Harrington remains on the team as a backup and that's pretty much what I think his career will amount to.

Culpepper will be the man IF he's fully recovered from injury. He'll have enough weapons in Miami to get the job done.

Injury recovery is the ONLY question I have about Culpepper's ability to thrive in Miami.

I know Daunte's Short season last year was horrible but that was his first w/o Moss. I think? If I have time I can look up DC's stats @ NFL/com and compute the QBR.

As I understand, JH is slowly catching on but is in a dog fight w/ Cleo Lemon (acquired from SD for Feeley) Training camp is around the corner so we'll see

FWIW, A J is now the backup to Philip Rivers -ROFLMAO.

Another good question. With DC's knee, scrambling will be less frequent. Therefore, the # of fumbles should go down. I find it hard to believe that DC will be as bad protecting the ball as Feidler. However, some of Jay's gaffes can be blamed on Seth McKinney (Center) who perspired too much as I understand it.

Yeah, it was supposed to be a joke but after that explanation, it was actually a good question.

Wouldn't be surprised if better coaching will help Daunte. With Tice everything seemed unorganized

There were a couple of stretches in 2 other seasons he didnt have moss. He did very poorly then also. I bet his QB w an w/o are about 30 pts apart.

I know some change was made late last season.

Starting w/ this offseason, Houck & Saban flipped Seth (now playing RG) & Hadnot (now is the Center). Hadnot is more vocal and more mobile.

Many Dolphins fans are of the opinion that Seth is a backup guard for another team at best.

Hopefully, Houck (OL coach) can work his magic w/ Bennie Anderson who cut by the Bills and signed by Miami so Seth can be kicked to the curb.

In 2004 he didn't have Moss for a bit and he played rather well. In fact if it wasn't for Manning he would of been MVP that season. I think Miami has the weapons around him that he'll excel. Joey is nothing more than a backup in my opinion.

Look at #'s in stretch without moss, pedestrian. He was in the 70s in that stretch

Threw for 365 yards and 4 TD's against the Packers that year without Moss in the lineup.

Agasint the Packers defense, so would I....his numbers arent as good without Moss, but Montana's werent as good without Rice....if you take away an explosive WR, the QB will suffer some....I think its more of a reflection on the rest of the Vikings skill position players though....the Vikings of the last few years dont have a single offensive skill guy that could start for this years Dolphins except Culp and Moss....hes got plenty of talent and planty of weapons...if hes healthy, he should have a good season....
