<div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">To be truthful, the 76ers are a difficult organization to root against these days. They have a president who is class personified, and a coach exuding similar qualities who happens to be the last remnant of any championship experienced in this town. There are enough quality human beings on their roster to make a momma proud and, of course, an owner in chairman Ed Snider who is hardly shy about cutting the checks. So despite their actions, which undeniably have vacillated from questionable to unthinkable in recent memory, there's nothing wrong with looking for a sliver of hope from time to time, even where there appears to be so little. So imagine the shock as the NBA postseason took flight, with LeBron James and Dwyane Wade set to elevate their games and that of their teams, that the Sixers are actually able to find themselves in the enviable position of selling their franchise as one on the upswing. By default, as much as anything else.</div> Source: Philadelphia Inquirer Yes another Carter/Magic article.
After how he has played the last two games, it's weird that you guys are still interested in him. Take him, at your own risk.

Just because he plays bad a couple games, or even if he plays bad the entire series, he has played well in other playoff series and doesn't have much depth on the Nets. I think they might know that he will bounce back, and with a player like Dwight and Jameer he might excel.
It's not just that he's been shut down, its the way that its happened. The Raps have played good D on him, there's no denying that. But, when they start out aggressive on him and he misses a few shots, it gets in his head. Eventually it doesn't matter if they play great D on him or not, because he stops attacking (ie: getting his defender to switch off and inexplicably shooting a fadeaway jumper over TJ Ford). His lack of intensity has been just as big a part of his poor performances.
