Why not Wright?

How come Riley doesn't play him? He'd be a great matchup defensively on Deng because of his size and length. Plus he plays a fast uptempo style.

Pat Riley is a dumbshit for not playing him, he'd be making an impact but noooo. This series is a joke.

 

yeah a quicker backcourt of wright and wade makes a lot of sense, the guy looked so promising early this year....is there a reason he isn't getting playing time???

Same reason why tyrus didnt play this series. The coach doesnt trust wright in crunch situations.

 

In this case, he is a great matchup on Deng while a guy like Wade or Posey would most likely be too quick for Thomas. Wright also has two years experience on Thomas, even though it isn't much. Wright had a great season but no one gave him a shot.
