Its a Led Zeppelin album cover. But it accurately describes Vince Carter's career since 2002.

Damn, so much hate in this forum lol.

To the guy who said the Nets fans suck. Why u gotta be like that? I'm sure your a bit bitter that VC's new team is beating the **** out of his old team but c'mon. Hate on Vince or something but fans, jeez dude.

Anyways, I hope the Nets take care of this in 5. I think they are going to handle Cleveland as well.

You know what Wade country, I'm going to add more fuel and flames to this hate. First off, I can't stand Miami and I'm glad Chicago swept you guys. First off, aint NOBODY in the NBA gives more respect to Mr. Wade and don't think I didn't remember game 5 in the playoffs in the last 3-5 seconds where Wade gets this bs call to go to the line from a stupidly ridiculous foul that you should NEVER EVER get called in the final 5 seconds. Dallas should've won that game. Why do I hate Miami? Because that idiot of a loser called Alonzo Mourning, traded from NJ to Toronto complained of some stupid injury that wouldn't allow him to ever play and then he all of a sudden can play. Toronto has to pick up the tab to pay him off when he didn't want to report to camp and then he's playing in Miami by miracle and winning a championship the following year, and being what they call an inspiration. Whatever man. This is the kind of respect we get in Toronto and Chutney being all civil (let me rant) doesn't cut it.

My rant will also continue to Mr. Idiot Wade who said that Nowitzki wasn't a leader enough to win the series. Well, when you get bs calls every single time, you're called the darling of the NBA and Miami last year truly was. Did you also know that that same idiot called Wade also won athlete of the year 2006 from ESPN.com when Federer (tennis) 3-4 tennis SLAMS should've won and to a lesser extent Tiger (Golf). All I can say (tongue in cheek): bye Miami, I'm glad you're out of this (Tongue in cheek)

Easy on me Chutney, don't give me any verbal on this. You're a raptor fan so you should understand [IMG]

LMAO that little rant was hilarious.

I remember we had pictures of both Harris slapping Wade's arm and Dirk shoving him in the back ehre a while ago, so yeah not exactly bs.

Ok, you should hate Vince Carter then too. I'm pretty sure if you were in Zo's position, you would've been trying to get out of two losing cities.

    <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">some stupid injury</div>

Yeah, a life-threatening kidney disease that could've killed him if he didn't get a transplant is a reaaaaal stupid injury. Very intelligent statement right there.

Ok, was it not Dirk who missed FT's at the end of game 3? How many rings does Dirk have? O wait, D-Wade's team beat Dirk's after Dirk's team was up 2-0...I'm sorry.

So yeah, basically that was a pretty pointless little rant you had there. As for the Athlete of the Year thing, I though it should've been Vince Young but Wade was deserving as well.

If you complaining about respect for the Raptors, I've heard a lot of people giving them props for coming all the way from having the top pick to making the playoffs. Your just bitter that's all.

Hey man, that's your battle. I have nothing wrong with you arguing that and honestly, I think Alonzo Mourning's a grade-A douchebag as well. But that entire post was unrelated to the topic of this thread, so I suggest you take it to PM's.

Clutch free throws by Chris Bosh last night, they put up a fight though NJ was still in control. Series should be over tomorrow, Nets - Cavs should be a fun matchup to watch.

By the way hollagr8, when the Toronto Raptors win a championship, get at me [IMG]

Chillax(new word) guys. I'm not a fan of Mourning, but what's done is done. No point in living in the past.

I just wanted to add that those pictures of Wade getting hit don't really mean much since they occurred after the whistle was blown (go to Cuban's blog and he addresses the pictures). Pictures are misleading because you can never be sure in what instant they were taken. If you just watched the waning moments of Game Five you'll see Wade got a phantom foul.

Playmaker, you don't think Wade got any calls in the last two games?

Don't discuss Heat stuff in the Nets forum, unless we're playing them. If you need to, go create this topic in the Heat forum.

I'm curious why you think NJ will handle the Cavs.

Well I think Jason Kidd is going to play a huge role in this series, as well Marcus Williams in handling Daniel Gibson and Damon Jones. LeBron is probably going to play on RJ or VC but I think Carter is going to be big. Playing Toronto was probably very tough for Vince and I'm sure it affected him a bit. RJ will probably be defending James so he's going to have to step up as well. Also, Mikki Moore is going to have to huslte like crazy against Verajao and Gooden but I think he's up to it.

At the end of the series is see NJ in 6 or 7.
