GT: Playoffs 2007 - 1st Round - Rockets vs. Jazz G5

for us to win this series and continuing in the playoffs, we need:
1. TMac going to the hole and stop settling for stupid jumpers, his shots look really flat as of late (which he did in game 5)
2. JHo and Head stepping up and making plays they're supposed to
3. Rafer making better entry passes to Yao, they really need to work on that.

btw, utah's execution on offense is great for the most part, their offense looks so fluid vs. ours, but I guess it's the end result that matters.

Have u read my posts? That's like the 10th time you've said that, and each time all I've done is reposts my quotes. Which contradict everything you've said lol.

But back to reality, the whole supporting cast was better last nite. We came thru as a unit. Even JVG gets credit for running a couple backdoor plays for easy buckets, somethin he doesn't do enough of.

 

alston, tmac, battier, howard and Hayes the defense they put in that final minute was awesome I hope to see that lineup shutting down that perimeter shooters of Utah

The refs were BAD last night...they let Utah be physical on one end, but the rockets aren't allowed to do crap on the other...anyways it's nice to see all of the rockets step it up in the 2nd half...I thought Juwan coming in and scoring some key buckets when Tmac went down was huge, because we could've lost the game right there....hopefully on Thursday we'll get off to a better start.....but I loved the passion and energy the rockets displayed in the 2nd half....lets close em out in 6!!!!!

I've come to accept that skip being erratic is just skip being erratic....he made a couple bad plays last night (took a couple of bad shots) but he came to play last night and he hit some huge 3s and did a solid job on Deron Williams.

That win pretty much handed us the series the presurres on Utah and I dont think they will respond Houston will take game 6

They responded just fine in games 3 and 4, which were effectively elimination games for them. The Rockets probably will have to play even better than they did in game 5 to have a chance in Utah.
