This is a tough situation because like Dirk, MVP of the regular season might be horrible in the playoffs, when it counts most, so he doesnt deserve it, but then if you wait until the end of the playoffs and finals and everything, then almost always, whoever leads their team to the championship will win the MVP. It would always end up like that, so who ever is the finals MVP is the league MVP, and thats not fair, because guys like Kobe dont have as good a team as others, even though Kobe might have a really good season, better than the rest, but since his team doesnt make it very far in the playoffs, he wouldnt even be a candidate.
