well not exactly, but i wish he would of tried. <div class="quote_poster">Quote:</div><div class="quote_post">Next Time Nets? Carter May Not Pass Up Final Shot In the NEWARK STAR-LEDGER, Dave D?Alessandro ?Vince Carter had a chance to determine the outcome by himself. It was his ball, his matchup, and he was facing a make-or-miss proposition. But for the third time in three visits here, he found Boki Nachbar alone in international waters for a big fourth-quarter shot, squared up on a wing, feet set and hands ready. With the Raptors already reeling from blowing nearly all of their 20-point lead, Carter didn't choose to be executioner. He decided to be a mere accessory, and went with what made sense, because his teammate was standing alone. Next time, maybe ? just maybe ? he thinks differently.?</div> Source

Damn, I was wanting Vince to get back at Raptor fans by making the game winner on them and eliminate them. Very good defense by the Raps though to force him to pass the ball to a guy who was 0-6 in the game on threes.

I want everyone to get over the whole VC thing as much as anyone but I don't blame some fans for being upset considering the way he acted on his way out. Put it this way: if tomorrow, VC demanded a trade out of New Jersey and facilitated it by playing half-assed the rest of this playoffs, wouldn't you be angry/upset?

It's the Raptors who have a reason to hate Vince Carter, Vince Carter has absolutely no reason to hate Toronto fans. We treated him as one of our own, and like Michael Jordan himself. He was THE player. But he goes ahead and stabs us in the back anyways.
Don't get me wrong, I'm not a Raptor hater, but for a Vince fan to make a game winner (on the people that boo him and make all those signs and jerseys about him) would be pretty nice. I admit that it was the wrong thing for him to do what he did, but put it this way: say that Chris Bosh was on the Nets, then demanded a trade. They trade him to the Raptors and the Nets fans boo him like hell and make alot of hating signs and jerseys about him. Wouldn't you Bosh fans want him to make the game winner on his former team?
