The Nets have a chance to close this series out at home. Carter will not be distracted by the crowd and the other players will be energized by it. Kidd is too experienced to let this game slip away from the Nets.

I feel nets will win. Yes, Kidd is far too experienced like Shaq is in miami. An upset could happen, but unlikely, since the refs favour the nets far too much to allow raps to win.

The calls have been inconsistent on both ends. I don't feel theres any favourtism going on.

LOL, Nets are the better team. Personally I hope the raps win. I dont' even know if you'd call it an upset considering we have the higher seed. what would be considered an upset? the favourite not winning or the higher seed not winning?

STC obviously has a problem here. You see, a raps fan just admit that the Nets would win. What're we supposed to do, just come out and say that we are number 3 and deserve to lose to number 6. You gimme a break. Given everything that the Raptors have accomplished this year and the Nets with their last minute effort. Really who deserves this win? Must I repeat myself and have Chutney our own raptor team leader take me down again.

You know what though, it's not even inexperience why we're losing. Colangelo said it best when the last two games of the Raptors season against Detroit and Philadelphia meant nothing to us because we had already solidified 3rd spot. While you Nets were trying to get to us and didn't want to fall as low as 8th seeding. You guys were playing intense basketball throughout in order to get to us. Those two last games we lost at the end of the season broke down our chemistry completely and we just found it in game 5. So you gimme a break STC, you obviously don't have a true understanding of this game.

Heck, I'm going to say it STC. You are the Golden State and we are the Dallas.

Chutney these are the fans that you're defending here, not even your own. I can't wait personally for the Raps to take this to game 7 and win it because Chutney's going to have a field day writing me up.

That was kinda pointless because STC wasn't talking about an upset possibility. He was talking about when someone said the refs favored NJ.

Still, he should back up what he says and not just write "gimme a break," but seriously, let's actually think about this. Why would the NBA want Toronto to win anyways, it's not like Toronto has been given exposure to American media etc and it would favor a Nets team that's been to the playoffs in the last 3 years. So why not give the NBA fans what they want. I believe intrepid probably meant that it was going to be on the Nets homecourt which usually favours the home team and NJ has received this advantage by beating the raps in the first game at the ACC. "Gimme a break" could mean anything, so please back up what you say.

Dude, don't take it personal and don't think that I'm taking sides or anything. You can post whatever you want, as long as its relevant to the thread topic and isn't taking personal shots at another poster. I told you to calm down a bit when you went off on a tangent about the New Jersey fanbase, because it was too off-topic. It had nothing to do with you as a person.

Let's just keep it civil in this forum. I know there's a rivalry between our teams and I'm pretty sure both fanbases think their team is better. There's nothing wrong with some good old-fashioned trash talking or a difference of opinions, but there's no need to take it personal.

    EDIT: Vince Carter sucks. [IMG]

VC injured Ford with a play that was borderline sexual assault, lol. I think he's getting a little lonely.

There were things really wrong with the title, especially before a mod edited. Unfortunately only mods can fix it.
