<div class="quote_poster">Chutney Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">M got it spot on. I think they'll butcher Carnage and make him like the Riddler from Batman Forever. It's a shame, because he's like a horror movie character. A psychopath in every sense of the word. My favourite Spiderman villain is Venom, but my favourite sagas revolved around the Green Goblin (even though they did him terribly in the movies). In the comics, he's at the center of some of the best storylines and his character's just such a menace. Plus he was responsible for the most surprising twist I'd ever seen (the Gwen Stacy "incident"). Also, I really got to disagree with you about the greatest set of villains. Batman's villains are by far the most intriguing and interesting. The Joker alone is probably my favourite villain, but there are so many others (Two Face was done so awesomely).</div> Joker Darkseid Magneto Doom Red skull Loki Dark Dr. Xavier And the underrated son of doctor Xaier "Legion"
They can't do Carnage without giving the film an R rating. Their will be a Spiderman 4, 5, and 6 (and probably more). The next ones will be done with or without Maguire, Dunst, and Raimi. For 4, I'd like to see them at the most have two bad guys. Lizard and Scorpion would be nice. Kraven the Hunter would be nice (if you want to replace Scorpion), but he's not well known. As for upcoming movies...<u>The Dark Knight (2008) will be the greatest super-hero movie to date.</u> God, I can't wait.
The problem I have with committing to so many sequels so quickly is that the subsequent movies might not have any connection between the villains. It almost sounds like they're just going to throw in 2 villains and take a "cookie-cutter" approach to the next few movies. The Dark Knight looks frikkin' amazing. Not only is the Joker going to be awesome (they're basing him off "The Killing Joke"), but they're introducing Harvey Dent for the 3rd movie. When Two-Face is done right (not like that Tommy Lee Jones stupidity), he's such a deep and disturbing villain. I remember my favourite episodes of the Batman cartoons revolved around Two-Face.
<div class="quote_poster">M Two One Wrote</div><div class="quote_post"> My personal favorite Spidey villain is the Shocker though. Did you know he's the one and only villain with a winning battle record against Spider-Man? </div> I always thought Shocker was the worst. Was shocker the guy who had the mask that had big electric bolts coming from his head, and it seemed he could fly? Or was shocker (this is who I think he is), the guy with these metal wrist attachments that would shoot out blasts.

I'm with Mamba on this one. I like Spidey and all but Batman is the greatest superhero ever. The Dark Night looks amazing as well. I think it will probably blow every spirderman movie out of the water even without all the CGI. I also think Carnage would be a bit too much for the audience beeing targeted in Spiderman. I'm sure Venom will return though, he's too popular to only be featured in 1/2 of a movie.
I'm probably the only one here that hates Batman. I find him pretty lame. The only reason I watched Batman Begins was because Christian Bale was playing the part. Dude is an awesome actor.
When he's done properly, Batman is awesome. I hated that light-hearted crap from the earlier comics and the show, but the later stuff (comics, animated series, the Burton/Nolan movies) create such a dark atmosphere. I don't think he's the best superhero (Spider-man's still the best IMO). But his comics are right up there.
I've always been a Batman freak lol. Plus the guys got mad hoes(even though he never gets married from what I know). I think the most overated superhero of all time is Superman, he has too many powers.
The most overrated super hero of all time IMO is Superman. I've never really like him for some reason... And the bad guys aren't really that cool compared to Spiderman and Batman
Bale as Bruce Wayne (not Batman) was amazing. He nails that billionaire playboy role to a T. Him as Batman wasn't too shabby, either. I love Nolan. He's doing Batman right. Dark and demonic, just the way the comics are. I'm fully expecting The Dark Knight to be one of the best movies next year.
M Two One: You said Shocker had a winning record against spider man, maybe the TV series that I saw was different from the comics (which probably is what you are referring to) However in the TV series, Shocker lost to spiderman when Spiderman got the symbiote and was threatening to drop Shocker off a bell-tower. Shocker also lost when he was in the Insidious six, and Spiderman tricked Rhino into charging into Shocker, tearing the Shocker's electro suit and the Shocker eventually falls into a water tower and explodes. I can't recall when he won, although its possible he did at some point. BTW: Coolest bad guys, Venom, Magneto (not movie version), and Apocalypse
For comic books fans here, tell me about Luke Cage. I saw on IMDB there`s a movie coming out about him and Tyrese will play Cage. Is his superpower electricity?
I have a PS3 and one of the games I have is Marvel Ultimate Alliance and I am seeing all these characters I have never heard off. Luke Cage, Ms Marvel, Moon Knight, Deadpool, Nick Fury, and a tonne of others. Wiki is a good source to find out the info.
I just got back from watching Spiderman 3. I have to say, It was a good movie. I am not a big Spider Man fan, but I thought this movie was pretty good graphic wise. It was pretty tight. The only gay part was when Spider Man turns emo. Also, the ending is kind of gay.
I am Superman..... Seriously.... I'm obsessed with the whole Superman thing, I think I'm going to name my kid Clark Kent (not seriously, but I would).... I'm also really big on the whole Batman thing to. I don't really like Spiderman that much, I have watched all the movies, including 3, but they have made Spiderman seem like a joke, especially in three.

<div class="quote_poster">Brian Wrote</div><div class="quote_post">On the TNT Halftime Show, Charles Barkley said Spiderman sucked...</div> It really did to me, the black suited spiderman was really gay when he was just regular Peter Parker. That completely ruined the movie for me.
