Sorry I didn't see a thread to post these thoughts, so I'll post them here.

As we all know Baron has been a man among children during these playoffs, and simply the best playoff performer so far. His numbers, presence, and leadership have been unparalleled... Imagine if he was fully healthy, like no problems whatsoever, someone would have to call the police cause he'd be creating a massacre.

He also says the right things, unlike other stars...

When asked if he got any personal satisfaction for his performance, their victory, and showing the world how good he is when people were writing him off... he said 'No.' He said he got satisfaction from helping his team mates, the organization, and fans. I'm sure he got some personal satisfaction, but I like his choice of words. Can you imagine if Gilbert Arenas was asked that same question? [IMG]

Baron is the real Most Valuable Player. Without him the Warriors are nothing, which is why we need him to stay healthy throughout the rest of the playoffs. I think that Baron is a top 5 point guard in the NBA and a top 20 player overall.

yeah, he is awesome. I always thought of him as a guy with a lot of swagger who chucked a lot of 3's, but he really showed what a leader he is, also good character. Also his playmaking in the series was awesome, I don't think he took one bad shot.

Last year he was a guy with a lot of swagger who chucked a lot of 3's. That was under Montgomery though. Nellie has him playing much better this season.

The Warriors can beat anyone in the league. Them and the nets are the scariest teams right now

Yeah that was with Montgomery, in a season where many players just chucked up 3's, including Jason Richardson who led the team in 3's attempted. Having players who have a similar passion as Baron Davis on his team now is also a big help for him. How many times since he was with the Warriors had he said something like, we just didn't want it enough and being frustrated with the team's effort? I recall quite a few times. But now you can see that the team is on the same page in terms of aggression and mind-set, without having any player holding back as there was/were in the past. Don Nelson is a big factor as well.

But seriously, it all comes down to health for Baron Davis. Those legs are something else...

I always knew the man was bad, but he's really brought his level of play up to another level this post season...he's been the best player in the playoffs thus far...
