Only thing missing point more than you is a bowling ball.</div>
....well you see when you talk about depth at a position, you look at who you have to back up the starter. I said you don't have to worry to much about the back up when you have a player who hasn't missed a game in 15 seasons. I think that's a pretty reasonable assumption. You take a car on the same trip 15 times and it doesn't have a single problem, you can reasonably assume it will make it the 16th time.</div>
Injuries can happen anytime anywhere. Is Favre tough. You damn right he is. Coming in and throwing a TD with a concussion, takes balls BUT Favre had a great line for 10 years of his career and a running game for the last 5. He doesn't have that currently and that makes him more vunreable to injury. In my opinion every team needs at least 1 good backup. We have Aaron Rodgers who is unprove but is a 1st round pick. So with that investment having him at are #2 is a smart move all the way. Brian Griese and Kyle Orton are better backups than Aaron Rodges and Ingle Martin though. I'll give the Bears that.</div>
The thing is, his point was never about how good packers depth was vs bears. He made the stupidest piont ever that his QB start 241 straight games. Wow, gratz on being the only, wont last much longer, never will happen again, get over it, you still need depth. 15 seasons isnt like 15 trips, it is like 15 YEARS of making the same trip with the same car, and in football it is like driving in demolition derby with same car for 15 years. So, to say you shouldnt worry about 16th season, is another one of the dumbest things ever said on this forum.
I will say this. most of the packers fans on this board hate me, and i hate them. But when the make a point it is sane, not something totally stupid and moronic that no person with half an IQ point wouldnt realize is wrong.

BF1 so far I haven't been around long enough to hate you but come opening day I'm sure we'll work on that. My view is just as I dislike the Bears I do respect them and even though I can't like a Bears poster as long as your points are valid (which they've been so far) I'll respect them. Besides discussions are way better when there are different views instead of everyone repeating the same words.

wow, so your telling me that you think a player who has played 241 straight games isn't any more durable then a player who is hurt every year? If so, well then your ridiculous. If not then how do you not see the point I'm making? The point is that Favre is the most durable QB ever to play, hence the reasoning that I use when I say that I expect him to play every game next season. If I would of said this before last season would you have said I was ridiculous, and made no sense? Well I would have been correct in the assumption. I'm not saying they don't need a back-up, that would be ridiculous, but I am saying that it's not likely he'll be needed. My point I've been arguing if you somehow don't understand is the one CanadianFavreFan made, which is that one great QB is better then 3 average ones.

I dont think you understand. When you are talking about depth, you can have johnny rocketarm as your QB if your backup is Joey Noodlearm then you are in trouble. One injury, even if he has started 250,000 straight games, and you are screwed. The idea behind best depth is who can SUSTAIN AN INJURY and not lose as much, not who can have the best starter who never got hurt.
